    a bowl of steamed mussels

First time visiting friends in Cumberland and we ended up going to Riders two nights in a row as our first night there was so amazing!! Firstly the atmosphere is warm and inviting and very family friendly. Most tables had small children and staff were very interactive and smiling. Our wee one slept in her wagon (beside our table I might add) through our whole dinner, which was very kind of our hosts. First night we shared the mussels, arancini (because when I saw them pass I couldn't resist) and a fennel and citrus salad. Amazing combo - everything was delicious, even the foccacia that was served with the mussels. The second day we shared some olives and a huge pizza - half vegetable and half squash - can't remember names - both were delicious but the squash pizza was probably the best pizza I've ever had! Looking forward to my next trip to Boswer for many reasons - but a big one is to enjoy this amazing restaurant again!

A little disappointed with this pizza today. We ordered to take out after getting great reviews by someone who had it at the restaurant. We got home and the toppings were missing so had to turn around and head back. By the time we ate the pizza was cold. Toppings were scanty according to our daughter who had it before. No apologies were given.

BlueberryBriePizza is phenomenal!! If you're feeling adventurous, it's a must-try & a favourite. Somehow they make the blueberries blend very well with the brie cheese. The Sasquach was awesome too but the jalapeno sort of drowned out the overall flavour.

We like really dense moist sourdough and took home a multi grain and a cinnamon raisin. The multi grain was good but the cinnamon reason was outstanding. Toasted with butter. The place charges and presents itself as a gourmet pizzeria, so I had high expectations. But when I saw the pesto being used coming from a Costco jar and other ingredients out of zip locks, presumably also from Costco I was quite disappointed, offended even considering the price and pretence of gourmet. Aside from the dough and cooking technique, I could put those combinations together myself with my Costco pantry items... The pizzas did come out very cheesey and filled the hole. Oh and 3 out of the 6 listed on tap craft brews were out. The only reason I'm not going with 2 stars is mostly due to the small nature of the business. I'm sure if you're looking for a bakery item or bread specifically, this would be fine. On a holiday with limited meal times I'm disappointed I didn't go next door...

The website does pop-up a window saying your order has been placed and it is a 40min wait. This is not the case. It does not say a confirmation email will be sent. I called their customer service to ask the status of my pizza, of course none had been ordered to my chagrin, so I advised them that there was no email sent and how was I to know there would be one, especially after there was a pop-up telling me the order was completed. The customer service was not a customer service, nor would they admit any wrong doing. DON'T USE THE WEBSITE!! I'll use another pizza service, I did not like the attitude.

My experience this time was a disappointment as my gluten free veggie with salami was not made to the standard expected. It wasn't cooked enough. Understandably, the gluten free crust is likely frozen and not hand tossed but it should have been reheated properly. There were no mushrooms on the pizza despite being indicated on the list of toppings. The rest of the veggies were scarce (in some cases only one pineapple tidbit or tomato chunk per slice) and the onions/peppers were not heated long enough, a consequence of not reheating the crust enough. The cheese was a pathetic smattering, barely any with almost none on the corner pieces (their gluten free crusts are square). Considering your only gluten free option is a medium at a $4 additional cost, paying $25 for a mediocre pizza was not money well spent. The rest of the family was satisfied with other the pizzas ordered: regular crust New York deli and deluxe, both had waaay more cheese and proper toppings. Not sure how they went so wrong with the gluten free pizza.
