It has been three years since we were last in Nebraska, but Husker remains to be the best Steakhouse in the area. My cousin had the Chicken Fried Steak, our daughter had the Jack Daniels Sirloin and my wife, being vegetarian had salad, green beans and baked potato. All were excellent. The Jack Daniels flavor was a bit strong on the steak but she enjoyed it also. I was fortunate to have the last Duck special. It was remaining from the Thursday night Duck Feast. Wow. It came with Duck Stuffing, Sauerkraut with Dumplings and a huge serving of Duck. The hostess at the front was extremely friendly, and even checked on us to ensure a server was going to visit us. The server was excellent. She had perfect timing and was very engaging. Thank you Husker for being such a great Steakhouse and a great place to visit.

We were promised a memorable night and Ashley delivered. Decorated room, arranged the way we requested with a private bar and bartender. The food included dinners for adults and children with desserts and it was all excellent AND served exactly when we requested dinner. The service between Ashley and Megan was professional and courteous. These two ladies made serving 40 people look so easy. They were so efficient! If you haven't been to Dusters or it's been awhile, try it. You'll be glad you did.

Let me just say I try to take my work life very seriously I thought this was gonna be a nice job…read moregood hours clean place and yes it was most of that there was just one main problem, the owner from the beginning I knew he seemed pretty strict on things and I get it, then a couple days in I just noticed how much he was really yelling at all the other employees and for the littlest things, I felt like I was walking on eggshells working around him hoping I wouldn't be getting yelled at next because no one will be yelling at me at my place of work. I worked for a couple weeks and just knew it wasn't gonna work, I was just under to much pressure there I knew eventually I would be the one getting yelled at, I talked to employees and they've all thought about leaving plenty of times and because of him. He had been saying things about me to the other employees because I moved a table to close to the wall and forgot to wipe off a cart before putting it in the back around the 2nd week I was there . I ended up quiting on my break around the 4th or 5th week I just brought my clothes and hat inside and told my employee I was sorry and I couldn't do it, nothing disrespectful not bad said just that. I come back after two days for my last check to sign a paper I walk in stand next to the counter and don't say a word just wait to be helped and the owner Steve decided he wants to yell out loud "oh it's my favorite person that just up and fuckin left the other day" and then in a different/mimicking voice says "I want my money I want my paycheck". Are you fucking kidding me that is so beyond unprofessional you are 58 and the owner of this business but can't even treat your employees or customers with decency, it's actually crazy how you can act like that I was completely dumb founded, you need to check yourself. And to everyone else working there you do not deserve to be treated like that.

I have attended a dinner event in the venue side which was gorgeous and very spacious! The restaurant is a good size, and has a beautiful bar in the center. Large booths on the perimeter and probably about 20-30 tables total. This meal was delicious, and not as pricey as I expected. I got a seasonal salad and added steak on the side, which came out in steak bites. These were a little overcooked (I asked for med rare, closer to med well), but tasted delicious! It must have been their wet aging process since this was some of the most flavorful steak I've had! The salad was good as well, and the dressing had a great sweet flavor which I love. Plenty of toppings as well--they were very generous with the goat cheese, craisins, and spiced nuts! My husband had the cowboy sandwich and loved it. The fries were good, and the sandwich had a ton of great flavor--again, starting with the meat! Our Brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious as well. Cooked perfectly, and plenty of delicious flavor from the balsamic reduction. We had great service, and did not have to wait at all. We came in on a Wednesday night and there were plenty of tables available. I'm so thankful a spot like this opened up in town! This will definitely be a go to for me going forward!
