Stopped by the Domino's in Kahului and had a really bad experience. The place felt dirty and unwelcoming -- definitely not the kind of Maui vibe you'd expect. I simply asked if they had the 2 medium pizza deal and got an abrupt "what's your first one" with no eye contact. I wasn't even ready to order yet -- just asking a question. No greeting when I walked in, no acknowledgment that I was waiting at the counter (and I was literally the only customer in the store). The place was empty, yet somehow I still felt ignored. It's been a lot of years since we ate food from Domino's, but I remember enjoying the pizza from their Kihei location. However, we weren't feeling pizza today so instead opted on getting some chicken wings. The smallest size they offer is an 8 piece, so we ordered three different kinds of that size. I love honey barbecue and theirs did not disappoint, though it is a little spicier than I was used to from KFC. We also got the non-sauced option with ranch dipping sauce and the mango habanero. Both were also tasty. The order took about 15 minutes to be ready which isn't bad at all. The guys working there were both friendly. We'll definitely go back. read more

What a disappointment, we ordered 8 pizza's for a work meeting at 1115 on line order and asked for a 1245 delivery time ... well 1pm came around and we called to get an update ,,, well a very rude guy came on the phone and scolded us saying we needed to give 24hour notice for such a large order I mean what the heck,,, 8 pizzas brah for real!!!! well looks like costco and pizza hut will get our orders next month !! So I ended up ordering a large thin crust pacific veggie pizza from Domino's instead. My order is included in the pictures. Yesterday for dinner I just rolled my slices to dip. And a guy named Ray defended his sale saying there only required to put 2oz of cheese inside of it. Wow so happy that we got ti try this domino's. Walked in and we were greeted right away by the two friendly staff that was working. They were the only 2 working but they had it down. They were hustling and bustling. They work very well together. One taking orders and the other one behind the counter and making the good stuffs We didn't know what we wanted so we looked and studied the menu board that was above us. So we knew what we wanted and we got to order.... 1 medium pan pizza with pepperoni and black olives and cheesy bread. The medium pizzas was so delicious. I'm glad we chose that it was more than enough for 2 of us. Our had enough taste ri satisfy both of us! The cheesy bread was so delicious when it was hot the cheese was ooey and gooey!! 5 Stars cause they deserve it! Totally met my expectations with their attentiveness and service. Greet you as soon as you come in and super welcoming. There were only two guys working and they were hustling. I'm comparing them to their Wailuku location which has a bunch of workers but sometimes no one acknowledges you for awhile. This location is pretty big, I feel like they could maximize their space with more tables but maybe not many people dine in, not sure. They offer indoor as well as outdoor seating which is nice. Definitely check out online ordering, as sometimes there may be online coupons only which you can pick up and leave or pick up and dine in. Or, when you come in you can also check for in-house deals they might have listed. First time having one of their salads which I thought was super cute. Just a basic caesar but the way it was packaged definitely caught my eye. Can't go wrong with the pizza but my go to is always the stuffed cheesy bread and chicken wings. This is Domino's newest location on the island. You can find it at the Pu'unene Shopping Center where Target, Fork & Salad, Verizon, etc. are located. I've ordered delivery through them and also stopped in for carry-out orders. I must say, I was really surprised at how big the space was. There's a lot of indoor seating and it's really spacious. I imagine you could throw a small kiddie pizza party in there, no problem! Whether ordering through delivery or pick-up, service was really fast each time and if you order online, you can track the status of your pizza. It's pretty amazing how spot on it is. As for their food, Domino's has vastly improved their recipe and their image. Everything I've had so far was pretty dang tasty. My usual go-to's are the chicken alfredo in a tin & the stuffed cheesy bread. Oh the stuffed cheesy bread. It's so good and so cheesy. I love it! Definitely recommend it for the cheese lovers out there. They also have some really great deals all the time. So be on the lookout for those! I picked up 2 medium pizza's last time for just $12. Maui's second Dominos has opened up shop in the Puunene Shopping Center. ATMOSPHERE: Compared to the Maui Lani SC location, this one has a lot more (indoor) seating and is pretty spacious. Parking is plentiful and close as the shared building isn't fully occupied yet. FOOD: Handmade Pan ExtravaganZZa - $17.99 (medium) The handmade pan crust is my favorite as its soft and chewy though available only in small and medium sizes for some odd reason. The ExtravaganZZA category of toppings is their version of supreme and includes pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, beef, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and black olives. Red or white sauce is available. What I like about Dominos over Pizza Hut is that their toppings go all the way to the edge of the pizza. Taste-wise, I'd rather have the Hut, but I had a gift card to use here. SERVICE: I ordered online and the pizza was ready for pick up within the time span of 20 minutes (I always carryout). They seemed understaffed. A friendly guy greeted me at the counter but had to call over another staff member to cash me out. The gal who came had pizza ingredients all over her hands, making me wonder why she wasn't using gloves. I really hope she washed them again after handling my payment. Eek. OVERALL: Dominos isn't the good deal they once were when they first re-opened on Maui. Coupons are limited to a miniscule amount of toppings just like their competitors. Inside of this Dominos there is a ton of space for you to eat with your party (or a table for one if you're going solo). Service is fast and they do greet you when you enter into the building. If you don't have time to dine in and you have to carry out. If you have the Dominos app it is a great way to place your order and earn points towards rewards and be on top of their deals (and it's really convenient). This location has always had my order ready when I've come in to pick up. I have been to this location a few times and I have never had any major issues. Some of the pluses are that the parking near that area is usually pretty open. As far as the menu goes, there are a ton of options. You've got your pick of pasta, sandwiches, cheesy bread, and pizza. You can get really fancy and add all the toppings you want, make it extra cheesy and modify your sauces. If you're walking in person to order check out the chalkboard to the left of the register because they change their deals. Usually most of the Domino corporate coupons online work but make sure to double check if you're questioning it to ensure you've got your discounts. read more

I love Domino's more than Pizza Hut. Plus the staff at the Ho'Okele location are very nice and pleasantly helpful to customers.

Great service. Called in an order the day before expected, and the manager took my order. She was friendly and accommodating, and even when I called the next day because I thought I'd be running a little late, she delayed the making of the pizza to make sure it was as fresh as possible. Upon pickup, it was nice to put a face to the voice which helped me out so much. I'll definitely be ordering from here again any time there's an itch for pizza. The 2 ExtravaganZZas were excellent, as was the 2 modified Pacific Veggies. It was a "thank you" for the animal clinic down the street (for taking such good care of us and our new pup), so I didn't get to have any, but on route to the delivery, it took a large degree of self-control NOT to peek in a box and steal a slice. Stopped in to Dominos twice this week. Once on Thursday, I believe...and once today. On Thursday, ordered a deep dish pepperoni pan pizza. Today, ordered a hand tossed Philly cheese steak pizza. This location is in the Target shopping center, next to Verizon. They have tables outside which is great. You can also dine in, but only a couple of tables are open right mow due to local Covid-related capacity restrictions. It says on the door outside that there is an occupancy limit, which is great hygiene at this time. One of the things I love about this Dominos and all Dominos I've been to in Maui is they always welcome you when you enter, and thank you when you leave. They never fail...ever. In this regard, the courtesy of Dominos employees is second to none. Maybe it's corporate training...I don't care. I appreciate it and it is one that that keeps me coming back. I also like their online ordering app. Similar to Pizza Hut, it's very easy to access coupons, customize your order, and even check in real time on the status of your order once place. You also earn rewards if you are signed into your account, which I highly recommend doing. The food always cooks quickly, but the fast cooking time doesn't diminish the quality. The pizza at Dominos always tastes good to me. I like their specialty pizza offerings. There are a wide variety to choose from. Our favorites are the Philly cheese steak and the cheeseburger pizzas. The kids just love the pepperoni pan pizzas. Speaking of the food items I purchased, their pepperoni pan pizza was off the hook. Perfectly cooked. Crispy edges, plenty of pepperoni, just the right amount of cheese, not too greasy, perfectly cut. It was a work of art, and tasted fantastic. I should have taken a picture but I just devoured it. It was such good quality, I would have been pleased with it had I ordered it from a non chain dine in restaurant. Dominos is on point! One thing I wanted to mention too is that Dominos is just well managed. I was having trouble with their online ordering twice this week at this location. I reported it to the store employee and online on Thursday, as it impacted my ability to use coupons. Today, it was still and issue and I mentioned it to the person on the phone (I had to call in the order on both occasions). It seemed that the man was the manager. I saw him when I came to pick up my pizza and he told me that he actually upgraded my order to 2 medium pizzas instead of a large Philly , half cheese only. Instead, he gave us a medium Philly and a medium cheese. He said he appreciated me letting them know about the online ordering issue, even though he had already been working with corporate IT to get it resolved. He also thanked me multiple times for my business. Very friendly manager. This guy gets it. He understands that customer service is key to success. Bravo, man! I didn't comment on these 2 pizzas taste because my wife just took them to a friends house for a small potluck and I wasn't able to attend. I'm sure they were delicious, though! All that being said, please remember that even behind corporate chain restaurants Like Dominos, there are real people no different than the ones who work at local small business restaurants. Many Dominos are privately owned/franchises...and of course, the quality and hard work of the employees doesn't suffer just because it's a chain. They all deserve some recognition for the great job they're doing to deliver a high quality product in challenging times! I did takeout on the first day this location was open, across of Target and adjacent to the new Starbucks and Fork and Salad. The vegetarian pizza was delicious and reasonably priced. More importantly the service was exceptional and you could feel that they were excited to be open and truly looking forward to serving their customers.
