Pizza exceeded our expectations. The crust was perfect; crispy and chewy at the same time with perfect balance of toppings. Sauce very flavorful. Perfect spice. Unfortunately, they had an issue with their computer crashing and needed to call and confirm our order. I commiserated with them about how frustrating that must be. Then, much to my surprise, our pizza delivery arrived earlier than expected and they included two pieces of cake as a Thank you. Cake was delicious!!! We've dine at Dominic's many times over the years that we've lived in Medina. Their food is consistenlty hot and fresh. We've dined in and ordered takeout. My favorite dish is stromboli, followed by their pizza. They usually have some good libations on tap as well. This is a good place to watch a game, hang out with friends, and eat some good food. Went with a big group to Dominic's for dinner. Andrew, the manager, waited on us because they were short staffed and he was fabulous. It was threatening rain and we were out on the patio and he kept checking the weather and prepped an indoor table for us just in case. We enjoyed the food all around. The Cobb salad was excellent as was the eggplant parm. The pasta was very good and the chicken marsala was a hit too. Ate here on a Friday nite with 3 other people who had eaten here previously. Prices seemed reasonable and parking was adequate. One had a large salad and a meatball hoagie. Another had lasagna, a generous portion. I could have been happy with several other items on the menu, but I am a big fish person and was advised that the fish here was really good. I ordered the 4 piece dinner and she ordered the 2 piece. The fish unfortunately wasn't very good this time. The pieces seemed plenty big, but they were HEAVILY overbreaded and overcooked to the point that you could barely taste the fish. We were both agreed on this. We figured that it was basically a kitchen problem and not a server one. The other two in our party were happy with what they ordered. Service was friendly and attentive. We may give this place one more chance on the fish, but it will have to be much better than it was on this visit. Note to management: lighten up on the breading. read more

I totally recommend the ricotta stuffed eggplant over a bed of marinara smothered spaghetti. It comes with side salad that you can upgrade to Caesar for $2.00. The lasagna smelled wonderful, but only got a 7/10 from hubs. The chicken parm is one of the family favorites. The chicken-portobello panini with side of pickle and chips is delicious. The wedding soup is perfectly acceptable and filling. The pizza crust was a little overdone with way too much sauce for my taste, but the cheeses, meats and peppers on top were tasty. The clear winner was the chicken rigatoni. Wow!! All dishes are much too big for a single human to consume. Wonderful, helpful staff. You should make a reservation. I had recently started going to dominics. The first few times i loved it... The severs were fast and nice. They do not have name tags nor is their name on the bill so i can only describe them like this The really good one was older probably 40s and a bigger girl (sorry they didnt have name tags. I dont wish to describe people like that) The other one was also good and also older. The last few visits ive gotten young girls.. probably just old enough to serve beer. They were AWWWWWWWWFFFFUUUUUUUUULLLL. Slow, one dropped my drink off and said here is your refill without looking at me.. she put it down said that and kept moving... The others would go back to the kitchen and just totally vanish.. not like getting a tables food. They clearly were talking back there. Ive worked in restaurants. A good server is only back there long enough to check on or grab food. I witnessed the other standing by the pop tower and talking even though their tables were giving them the, hello we need something look. One time on a saturday my pasta was over cooked. It had likely been sitting in a pot all day. It was also already cold The meatballs were on top of the sauce not under it and they were ice cold. Thats three bad experiences in a row. Im done. We were so pleased that Dominics could accommodate our party of ten last minute on A Saturday night. They were so polite and friendly after our prior plans fell through. We are big fans of the sister restaurant, Santos in Middleburg, so we tried hard not to compare. While we enjoyed the familiar menu and tastes, Dominics is a style of its own. Our server was very patient and efficient. Drinks were refilled, all orders were right, food came out at perfect intervals. Our food was all fabulous. I tried a few bites off others plates and can't wait to go back. We were traveling all day, the drive sucked. We had business in the morning at the local HD dealer. It was getting late, we were run down, and options to eat were closing soon. A simple Siri search for "fried chicken restaurants" in the area turned up the usual KFC, Cracker Barrel... stuff we already knew. When out of town I like to eat at local mom and pop places. "Dominic's Italian" caught my eye. The reviews were good. It was already 9pm so we gave it a go. We found the Bar it was attached to, sat on the patio, looked at the large menu full of cheap prices... and didn't expect much. Our fantastic friendly server, Taylor, greeted us with a genuine smile on her face and took our order. The food came out fast and to our surprise, blew our socks off. Everything was fresh, flavorful and each dish was better than the last. Between the two of us we had salads, fried zucchini, lasagna, spicy garlic wings, and a few mixed drinks. We travel a lot and the fact that this restaurant was not packed to the gills with people from open to close surprised us. Obviously the locals here don't know how good they have it. We spoke to the manager, Andrew, and expressed how great the food, prices, and service was tonight. He explained how he was running a skeleton crew because of the labor shortage everyone is facing and it made it even more impressive that his crew was able to keep the quality of everything first rate. Choosing to eat at Dominic's changed the outcome of our crap day. Friendly conversation with Taylor made our night. She was fantastic. People as genuine as as her are getting scarce nationwide. I was so happy with everything we received from Dominic's. We ordered food for our daughters wedding. At the last minute our person who was supposed to pick up our food let us know they couldn't do it. I called into the restaurant and spoke to the manager to see if there was anyway they could possibly deliver it to use. Dean said he would call me back if he could, about 1 hour later he called to let me know he had someone that could deliver our 27 pans of food. Dominic's is a staple of Medina. They actually have three sections: an inside bar (Jo Jo's Sports Bar), an inside restaurant area (Dominic's), and an outdoor bar/patio. Any area is good, just depends on what atmosphere you are in the mood for. The food is very good, not your typical "bar food" like many other bars in the area. My go-to here is the pizza; some of the best around. I also like the wings. If your schedule allows, they have a lunch buffet with fried chicken, pizza, soup and salad. And they are good about keeping the buffet filled and fresh. As you are leaving the restaurant area, you can purchase a variety of different flavors of gelato. It's very good! I've heard they have good fish, but I've yet to try it. They have a Friday fish special which I am going to hit up soon. If you are in the area, give this place a try! read more
