I ordered the MOFONGO MIXTO (Mixed Mofongo), which is crispy green plantains mashed with garlic and olive oil, paired with chicharrón, chicken, or cheese. It was solid--rich, tasty, and especially delicious with the salsa blanco, which was creamy and garlicky. That sauce was a first for me, and I loved it! While I've had mofongo that included rice and beans elsewhere, this version stood on its own nicely. A couple of notes: parking is a bit challenging, and I'd recommend placing your order through an app to help navigate any potential language barriers. Portions sizes were generous with very reasonable prices too. The staff are very friendly too.
