After tolerating several different fencing companies and the variety of job estimates, we were…read morepleasantly surprised when we met Josh Tucker of AJM Construction. A Company that his father founded over 40 years ago, providing a variety of construction services. Josh made an appointment within a few days and was extremely professional and knowledgeable in providing an estimate via email the same day. The terms of partial payments were in accordance with State Contractors law and regulations. I mention this because we had two estimates that wanted 50% or more up front which is a huge flag and also illegal. Having a shared rear yard fence replacement done means coordinating with your neighbors. Josh was easily agreeable in meeting with our neighbors at their convenience and providing separate billing invoices for the shared costs. After scheduling almost 3 1/2 weeks later we had an installation date. Suddenly I was hospitalized and this meant my wife was very busy. I felt confident, as did she, having Josh and his crew go ahead with the work without any immediate supervision from us. For the 3 1/2 days the crew worked incredibly well in making sure everything was handled. This was a great relief to both my wife and I. Another plus was Josh and his crew handling everything. With Josh on site each day, they removed the old wooden fence, trimmed tree branches that were obstructing the new fence line, and chipped out the older post concrete. The post holes were widened, new pressure treated posts set, followed by new concrete poured to above grade to prevent wood rot. With the string line up, new redwood fencing was assembled after being primed. Once up, the fence was painted with two additional coats of two different paints. White for my neighbors to match his side fences and an off white matching our stucco retaining wall below the fence line planter. Great care was taken by the crew to cover all plant life and trees from paint and damage. We would highly recommend Josh and his family business for any of your Construction needs. The crew of Josh, Trinidad, and Alberto were extremely clean, professional, kind and thorough in their work on our fence and surrounding property.

From the first time I met Rich, I just felt comfortable over the other people I spoke with. I received four estimates and Rich Jr. had the best price, best availability and was local. Rather than me have to negotiate payment and reimbursement from the neighbors, Rich Jr. met with each neighbor and worked directly with them which was great. We had a total of 224' so it was a good size job. Rich Jr., his son Daniel and another helper were on site when they said they'd be, removed the previous fence, installed the new fence, and a total of four gates in 6 days....in late July/August. Yeah, they don't screw around. We had a great experience, recommend RAMCO 110% and look forward to working with them again. I appreciate you looking after our landscaping while on the job, not damaging ANYTHING and straightening up at the end of the day. Thanks again Rich, I miss your whistling and singing as well as Daniel streaming classic rock throughout the day.

From the consultation to the finished patio cover, J&R Aluminum exceeded my expectations!…read more I had been wanting a new patio cover for my backyard and got four different quotes before making my decision. J&R Aluminum not only gave me a great price, but actually beat all three of the other quotes I received. But honestly, the price was only part of what impressed me. Raul was my first point of contact, and he was fantastic to work with. What really stood out to me was how he helped me visualize the project. I'm a very visual person, and instead of simply taking measurements and explaining where everything would go, he put markers down to show me exactly where the posts would be. He even lined up the tape measure so I could physically see how far the patio cover would extend. That made such a difference when I was trying to decide between sizes. I thought that was such a thoughtful and professional way to help a customer make a decision. Once I decided on the size, the installation process went smoothly, and the quality of the workmanship was exceptional. My new patio cover looks beautiful, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. It has completely changed the look and feel of my backyard and gives me the outdoor space I've been wanting. For me, J&R Aluminum really checked all the boxes: great pricing, quality workmanship, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. It's not often that you can say you got the best price and were extremely happy with the quality of the work. I would absolutely recommend J&R Aluminum to anyone considering a patio cover. I'm very happy I chose them!
