Bought a Doughboy pool from here 9 years ago because it had a lifetime warranty on all wall and frame metal parts. In October the side blew out and the post and rails collapsed. I have spent the last 7 months trying to get someone to look at it and make a determination and resolve this issue and through the occasional phone conversation Tom said they were denying my claim. No one ever came out, only pictures that I sent in. This is an expensive pool and I had a custom deck 33' x 70' built all the way around it. Now I just have a hazard for my grandchildren. We purchased and paid in full for a hot tub from Dolphin Pools at the boat show. Following their direction, we installed the concrete pad and paid for electrical so everything would be ready for delivery. Unfortunately, we have been unable to get a confirmed delivery date. We've spoken with Tom, Jeff (sales), and others multiple times and are consistently told they will "check with the installer," but we receive no follow-up or timeline. We understand delays can happen. What's frustrating is the lack of communication after paying in full and completing all required prep work. We would genuinely prefer to update this review with a positive resolution. All we're asking for is a firm delivery date and proactive communication. We purchased an 11K dollar hot tub in Feb 2025 at the home and garden show. It was delivered damaged in May 2025. We called over 3 dozen times to them to get the parts to repair it. We spoke to every single person in the office (Owner Doug, Tom). Each time it was a different excuse (they had to email the factory, they weren't sure what the color was, it didn't come on the truck with the last shipment, etc.) We have never gotten them to call back and our hot tub is still damaged. We actually thought things were going to get done. The contractors came (April 24th) installed the pool and did a great job. They said someone would contact us within the next couple of days so someone from dolphin can come out and finish everything else. That was April 24th and now once again we cannot get anyone to answer us, return a phone call or text, or if they do they say let me get you an answer and we'll call you right back and then they never do. Our spa was used for 1 season. We haven't been able to use it this season because it needed serviced. FINALLY got someone to send a service guy out but now we are waiting on the actual repair. Getting ahold of a service guy that actually comes to work there is beyond possible. I've called for almost 2 months at least 2-3x every week and have given my phone number to at least 10 different people. Not ONE call back from ANYONE. STILL no repair. At this point, I would not recommend buying a spa from Dolphin - which includes the Tulsa and the Owasso OKLAHOMA location. I contacted Dolphin Pools about replacing my inground pool liner in May. They got back to me right away, measured my pool, and ordered the liner all within a week or two. When the liner came in they were a little backed up from weather delays which is to be expected when you are getting anything done outside. They squeezed us in as quickly as they could! Very impressed with the price compared to other places and everyone was very friendly! read more

Where do I start? This is the worse pool place I have ever dealt with. They installed our vinyl liner pool summer of 2021. The liner pulled out of the tracks and had to be put back in 2022. Several wrinkles started to develop on the bottom of the pool last year. They told us they would put us on their schedule to come look at it but we never could get them out. We are now being told by different pool professionals that the liner was not installed properly and there isn't much that can be done until we have to buy a new liner. We went in to get pool sand the first of April 2024 and they didn't have any so we had to go to another pool place. Then my husband took our water sample in and was told there wasn't anyone there that could test the water cause they were all out helping someone do their taxes. We swore we wouldn't make the drive again for anything but Dolphin sold us a Century motor for our pool pump July 2023. Less than a year later, May 2024, it has gone out and they won't warranty it. My husband tried to talk to the owner who refused and went out back and hid. That was a $400. motor that is supposed to have a 2 year warranty and they refused to honor it and we will have to buy another vinyl liner sooner than we should due to their poor installation. I don't EVER do reviews but want to warn people about this business and their poor practices. read more

Signed contract & paid total price up front for inground pool Late June 2020 with the expected start date 4 to 6 six weeks from them. They didn't break ground until October 1. This was after repeated calls to them & many, many no return phone calls, excuses, excuses & more excuses.... The entire process went that way. A little work would be done then nothing, sometimes for weeks. Soon after opening the pool spring 2021 some of the liner popped out. I began calling asking them to come fix it. I have been calling for months now with same thing, no return calls, then telling me "when someone comes this way he will have them fix it". Then acting like he thought someone had.... Pathological liars in my opinion. Now we think we have a leak. Once again no one has called me back after repeated phone calls. Please people do not become their victim. This company only cares about getting your money. I purchased both, a hottub and above ground pool. I had to hound them for installation of both. The installers for the pool showed up with nothing to I stall the pool on the forst appointment, was there for 45 minutes, and I was stuck with the pool, with parts sitting all over the place, in my garage for over 4 months. To keep a long story short, my "brand new pool" has rusty top rails, rusty side rails, sound like an old creaky mattress, and the rails are twisted every and some face inward, some face outward. This whole process hadms been so bad and such a headache that the owner gave me his email to communicate directly with him. 3 emails have now gone un-amswered in the last 30 days. These guys are crooks, My daughter talked me into purchasing a home pool to enjoy during this Covid year. This seemed like a pretty easy task to accomplish. You give them your money and in 2.5 weeks (their words) they give you the pool... At least that is what was supposed to happen. Here we are coming in on week 4 still no pool they cant even tell me when or where it is. I have had a 2 ft deep hole in my back yard for three weeks now just waiting on my pool. What a crappy way to run a business. This is one local business i'm not proud to support. If they would have just told me it would be a month or longer i wouldn't have torn up my yard. Oh and by the way they are still taking orders for these non existent pools to this day. I have written this on June 29th 2020. If I was looking for a hot tub again I would go 300 miles away, but never ever ever deal with these people again. They are the worst that we have ever seen. Our hot tub was promised to be here in four months and it took 10 1/2 months, only to find out that its leaking one and it took them another month to replace it, but of course they keep saying tomorrow every single day. Then we had to hunt them down to return our jets that they "accidentally" took, that took another week and they kept telling us tomorrow. These people have absolutely no idea how to run a business or have to make a customer happy. On top of everything these people had never ever apologized for everything that had lied to us about. They have no problem lying to you on a daily basis. Oh and on top of everything they originally overcharged us over $2000 and they conveniently wouldn't notice it unless we said something! This place is terrible. As of this post (May 30, 2017) they told me 3 weeks ago they'd service my pool. They've never showed and never called. Every time I call they tell me some dude named ANDY in the service department will call me back and he never does. Now my pool is completely green and not running and Memorial day has passed and I've had to make an appointment with another pool place in the area but they can't come out for two weeks because, of course, its the season and thats why I started talking to them 3 weeks ago! Do not try to do business here!!! My tub was delivered in a reasonable amount of time but the control panel and computer board was burnt up. Wires were completely severed and black smoke everywhere! Needless to say it didn't work. The installer called the store and they said there would be a new panel in a week or a half. Nope! Many calls to the store and nobody knows anything. I have a non working "COLD" tub on my patio for the past several weeks. I'm sure I'll have to hire a lawyer. Just save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else! read more

Call with a leak on a new hot tub they put in. Service person came out and said he couldn't do much but it was under warranty so they can come pick it up and fix the leak. I thought that sounded great after picking up my hot tub and having it for over 4 months they call and say it completely fixed. So we set up a delivery date and the day it was supposed to be delivered they said it had another leak. They couldn't fix it and they bring it back with screws stripped out of the panels and panels warped and now there are multiple big leaks. No one could give a answer what happened. read more

We purchased a hot tub at the Tulsa County Fair last year (2019)...we were told we would have complete service on the tub including 3 years on parts and labor and lifetime on the shell. Here we are 6 months later and some of the jets aren't working along with a couple of other issues...when we called the store we were told those really don't have warranties and proceeded to tell us to take it apart and unhook some stuff and just leave it unhooked and that would probably fix it. After experiencing a horrible sales person that showed up at our HOME and my work, DRUNK, multiple times, (later fired) our pool was installed thanks to Rob and crew. Loved it! A year later our motor overheated and stopped working. BAD. Without a beat it was removed and replaced. GOOD. After a year of the new motor overheated and stopped working. BAD. We've now been without our motor for nearly 2 weeks. From someone who said keep your pump running 24 hrs a day is best somehow it being broken for this long doesn't seem to be a problem. Most of this time we were on vacation but still our houuse sitter has been busy keeping the pool clean because the pump isn't running. We've tried REPEATEDLY to contact them (Tom) and he has little to say with returning our mulitple calls with ONE returned call. They now say the motor is "fine" even though it shuts off due to overheating and making grinding sounds. I'm having a struggle thinking I would recommend them for anything. Just wishing they would keep us informed of what is happening. Fail. If this doesn't get resolved shortly this review will be adjusted. read more

Don't even think about this company. Bought a spa at the boat show and was promised delivery between 9 and 12 after delaying one other time. I called after hearing nothing from them that morning and they claimed to have called and left message to cancel due to rain. After I said I had no calls or msgs. on my phone, they fessed up and said they must have called the wrong number. i explained we were dry at my location and they still declined and said we would have to schedule for another week. I told them if they couldn't deliver that day to cancel my order and they said fine. Ended up buying at Galaxy Pools in Tulsa. Great business. My wife gave Dolphin a bad review on Google and their reply was total BS. They are a bad company and not to be trusted with anything they say. Just received a bill for $800, cancellation fee that I was not informed about, either. BEWARE!!! read more

We bought an above ground pool and scheduled it to be assembled in 3 1/2 weeks from purchase date. It ended up being two months before anyone showed up to just do the groundwork for the pool, so needless to say this company sucks at promises! One guy showed up to do the groundwork and then the assembly team never showed to assemble the pool so we contacted Dolphin pools and they had to send another crew out to assemble the pool, which added another week. 1 week after assembly, the liner popped out, so I called Dolphin pools and they sent another team out to fix the liner which they told me the first team didn't install the lock tight liner they were suppose to use. In all of our frustrations, it really didn't seem anyone jumped through hoops to make sure we were happy, almost as if once your pool is up, we're done with them attitude! Go to another pool company, even if it costs more!!! read more

Horrible Experience! Purchased (and paid for in full) a Bullfrog Spa in August from Chris Ledford at Dolphin Pools & Spa. Chris told me that the tub should be delivered at the end of September. He assured me it would be no later than October because he was supposed to have the Bullfrog Spas in for the Tulsa State Fair. I understand Covid-19 could have slowed down the production of this tub, but please communicate that with us. Almost every time I reached out to Dolphin Pools and Spa for an update Chris was conveniently not there or busy. When he finally called back it was one excuse after another. Finally the Spa was delivered today. However, the 3rd party contractor that made the delivery said he was to deliver the spa only and that he was unsure of where the local Bullfrog representative was to install the spa. Chris Ledford had told us that he would schedule it for the Bullfrog rep to be here when the Spa was delivered. The contractor called Dolphins Pool and Spa and could not get a hold of anyone. I called and spoke to a guy that said Chris had called in sick today. We were sold a product and told they would take care of everything, which was not the case at all. Good Luck trying to get a hold of someone there after you purchase something from them and they have your money. I am an entrepreneur and would never treat customers like this.
