My husband and I hiked the maroon bells from the Aspen side to the Crested Butte side. If it wasn't for shuttle, we would not be able to experience this beautiful hike.great experience. very communicative, on time and nice! Highly recommend. read more

We hiked from Aspen to Crested Butte and booked the 4pm shuttle from the trailhead into town. The weather was bad and we had a hailstorm and lightning preventing us from traversing the pass until the storm blew over. We were stuck with a bunch of other passengers from our shuttle. They hurried across and made it, but we didn't get to the trailhead until 4:30. Dolly's shuttle didn't wait for us, knowing the conditions and despite the insistance of the other hikers. We were stranded without cell service in the area. When we finally were able to text them, they said they'd come back in 1.5 hours and charge us an additional $110. Their policy is a 15 minute grace period. We were able to hitchhike down, but lost the money from the original booking. We also had the shuttle booked for the return trip. After which, they texted us requesting we send a tip. Here's a tip: be more considerate of your customers. read more

Cannot recommend this group highly enough! They were so friendly and helpful to our group, not to mention highly reliable! Use Dolly's Mountain Shuttle!!! 10 stars for Dolly's! read more

The team at Dolly's really made our visit come together. We did the hike from Crested Butte to Aspen. The drivers (Kevin and Kate) reached out in advance to make sure we knew where to be and when. They were friendly and very competent. The journey from the end of the hike back to Crested Butte was a long one -- almost three hours -- but Kate got us there capably and efficiently. read more

Best drivers and they came to get us early which was great since we arrived a bit earlier than expected.

Small company with responsive customer service. Just make sure that you look at their cancellation policy We went to Gunnison in March and all flights were canceled for several days, but we were still charged. It is in their policy, but you should be aware. read more

A group of 3 of us backpacked 3 days from Crested Butte to Aspen and Dolly's provided the shuttle back to CB. On the positive side, the driver Todd's driving was excellent, careful and smooth, and the van was relatively new. That's all I can say that's positive. First of all it was a 12+ passenger van with no luggage space, every seat filled, with nowhere to put our 3 backpacks. He even seemed surprised that we would have such things, because most people are day hiking. We had to wedge them in the aisle and inside the sliding door. I rode for 2 hours unable to move my legs or knees even 1/4 inch. Also the driver Todd had no idea whatsoever of customer service. We started driving with not a word like "Please let me know if I can make anyone more comfortable". We stopped for 2 additional passengers in Carbondale and there was not a word that this would be the last restroom stop for 2 hours. The van was hot in row 3 but the driver turned the A/C down presumably because he was cold, he didn't ask or say a word. I am 64 years old and I was tired, but the younger and very strong driver never lifted a finger to help me or ask whether I wanted assistance. Just oblivious. Just overall poor experience. I don't know if there is an alternative, but I would use it if possible. read more

Shuttle pick up at Gunnison airport was super easy. Great communication before we booked, after we booked and on arrival day. Kevin was our driver. Did a nice job of getting us loaded and up to the ski slopes and our accommodation. His local knowledge as we drove up to the resort was helpful. read more

Long/short of it: Shuttle (bus itself) not set-up for large packs. We were a party of four with overnight packs. We booked shuttles to Schofield Trailhead and return to CB. For both trips, we had to wedge our packs into the aisles and side door space -- which was not at all safe nor convenient for other passengers in the event of an emergency. We were perplexed as to why shuttle service that caters to hikers did not have exterior rooftop storage or a basket on the back of the bus for larger packs...? Recommendations: 1) Buy an additional seat for your pack , or 2) do the car shuffle b/t CB and Aspen. It will be worth the $$$ especially on the return trip. read more

Dolly's and our driver, Eric, are always awesome! He's on time, informative, and funny! We had a great hike to Crested Butte and back to Aspen the next day thanks to Eric and Dolly's! read more

terrific experience - driver Scott was super friendly and took us to the liquor store and grocery. reasonably priced and great trip!

Recently used Dolly's for a drop off at Marion trailhead on crested butte side. Shuttle was spacious, on time and would definitely recommend shuttle versus driving yourself. Roads were extremely narrow, winding and uneven. Would definitely use again. Book early as it fills up during summer weekends. read more

Kristin and Jessie and our driver Kevin were absolutely amazing. I had about a million different things that came up that caused us to have to change our reservation and Kristin and Jessie were so accommodating and understanding. Our driver Kevin was right on time and clearly knew his way down the winding dirt roads. Overall a great experience and cannot recommend Dolly's enough! read more

Doll's Mountain service was a fantastic experience! Eric picked us up and waited so patiently for our group of 8, which is sometimes like herding cats! Girl's went grocery shopping and boys went elsewhere, easy drive up the road to Crested Butte, and he dropped us off at the front door of our lodge. On the way home Kate picked us up to take us back to the airport. Such a wonderful person to talk to and a wealth of knowledge, kinda felt like a tour guide, she was fabulous! Please pass on our thanks and job well done! read more

Very pleasant, comfortable ride and Kevin the driver was friendly and welcoming. Appreciated the message the night before about timing!

Nice ride and driver, but poor communication. Not very detailed Email responses to figure out where we were being dropped off. Just said "Gunnison bus stop" and that meant bus stop in CB to Gunnison - not in Gunnison where our car was left. So had to ride another bus to Gunnison after a long day hiking. Also picked us up in Aspen 40 minutes late. read more

Our hiking group used Dolly's to take us to the West Maroon trailhead, then pick us up in Aspen Highlands after. They were SO easy to work with, so responsive with clear information that this became the easiest part in planning our trip. They picked us up a few minutes early at our hotel, drove us carefully on the steep parts to a crowded parking lot. I don't remember the name of our driver. On the way back from Aspen to Crested Butte, we had Mr Lamar (he's a teacher) who entertained us with stories and had a long discussion with one of our members all the way to "Keebler" Pass (it's Kebler) where we looked for elves and hoped for cookies. It was a great day, a great hike, and made so much better by this highly professional company and drivers. Thank you so very much! read more

Dolly's Shuttle was on time, the van was clean, and the drivers were experienced, safe, and kind. Drivers Craig and Todd shared a few interesting facts and stories and were good company. read more

Scheduling our shuttle was a bit difficult but after some communication, we got it done! Suggestion: text the number on their site, rather than calling! We finished our hike from aspen to crested butte and our driver Eric was 15 minutes early! It was great that he was there when we finished. He dropped us off at a local pizza place downtown and gave us our drivers info for the trip back to aspen. Craig picked us up at the restaurant and quickly got us back to Aspen while entertaining us with history and so much information about the area. He was a great driver and incredibly pleasant. We highly recommend Dolly's!! Would have rated 5 stars but the scheduling issues dropped it to a 4. Eric and Crag get 10 stars!!! read more

we highly recommend Dolly! we used them for transport from Aspen to Crested Butte which was a stunningly beautiful drive. Kate was our driver and provided really interesting history of the area and helpful hints for our hike. Kate also picked us up at 6 am to drive us to the trail head. we found Kate and Dolly very efficient and nice enough for pick up and drop off spots of our choice! read more

We used Dolly's Shuttle twice in three days for a drop-off Friday afternoon & pick-up Sunday morning. To and from the West Maroon Pass Trailhead (hiked Aspen to Crested Butte and back) our drivers went at a steady pace, were cautious, and confident along the bumpy roads and narrow turns as cars passed. Great experience all around. Highly recommend making reservations months in advance, for this particular trip, to accommodate your group and the lack of cell service. read more

This is our third consecutive year for Dolly's Mountain Shuttle to take us to and from the west maroon trail head to Crested Butte. We've had the same driver every time, Erik, and he is knowledgeable, prompt and a very safe driver. I recommend Dolly's Mountain Shuttle read more

I'm not in the habit of reviewing airport shuttles but we had SUCH a great experience with Dolly's this week that I feel compelled to let others know. We were heading from Crested Butte to the Gunnison Airport. Kristen was super helpful during the coordination process and got back to me right away. Our shuttle arrived early on the day of our flight. Kate was driving and we had the good fortune to be joined by another driver, Craig, who was also headed to the airport. We had SO much fun with both of them - the conversation was fantastic and Kate pointed out wildlife (including a bald eagle) along the way. We will definitely use Dolly's the next time we're in the area. Thanks to the entire team for a fun end to a great week in Crested Butte! read more

Great service with Dolly's these days. We were picked up early both upon arrival and departure for the West and East Maroon trailheads. Thank you! read more

Great experience being picked up at the West Maroon trailhead and driving the 40 minutes to CB after hiking over from Aspen, and then 2 days later being picked up in CB and brought back to the trailhead to hike back. I booked well in advance with no issues, but I did hear some people on the trail say they had tried to book but everything was full, so once you know your dates I would recommend booking ASAP. The road between WMTH and CB is no joke (narrow, rutted, twisty dirt road), but our driver was extremely safe and I was relieved it was him driving and not me! Wouldn't hesitate to use again and would highly recommend! read more

They are really helpful, and accommodating. We are using them for our hike from west maroon bells to crested butte. If you have questions, they help you promptly. Highly recommend! read more

These guys are wonderful! Very accommodating and pleasant to work with. We used them for the West Maroon Pass hike both ways from and to the trailhead, as well as a shuttle back to Aspen for our group. read more

Eric got us back to the trailhead and our flat tire with expert driving on a very congested road and even hung around to make sure we were able to get our tire changed. Thanks Eric and Dolly's for coming to our rescue! read more

just wanted to take a moment and tell you how great your driver Erica is. My friend suffers motion sickness and is a bit nervous about the mountain roads. Erica was engaging acting as tour guide and overall conversationalist which alleviated his anxiety and made the trek from Crested Butte to Aspen seem very quick. We felt incredibly safe the whole time. Please pass on our compliments to her! read more

Wow what a flexible and friendly service this was. Our first Driver was Kate, who offered to take us to the grocery, liquor store or anywhere we wanted to go on the way to CB Mountain. She waited and was very helpful pointing out wildlife on the way. We saw a bald eagle, elk and a coyote. Then on the way back I had to leave a day early. I found this out at 11 pm and Jesse at dispatch was texting her drivers. She found an available shuttle and driver and we got to the airport early even! great family service read more

Very accommodating. Driver Eric was very personable and knowledgeable. We used the service from Crested Butte to the West Maroon trailhead in early October read more

My group of 4 took the shuttle from CB to Aspen. Outstanding service and we learned a lot about Colorado history and geology on the drive!

Dollys did exactly what we hired them to do. Yes, it's a bit concerning when you pay for the service over the phone and get no confirmation of any kind. BUT, they showed up when they were supposed to and both drivers that we encountered were very nice. Laid back ? Yes. This is CB after all and that kind of laid back vibe is exactly why we stayed in CB instead of Aspen when doing our hike. Would definitely recommend! read more

Craig was our driver and went above and beyond in taking care of us. My buddy and I hiked back to Maroon Bells via the East Maroon Pass trail. Craig did us a huge favor by dropping us off at the upper trail head. He saved us 40 minutes of up hill hiking. The end of the East Maroon Pass trail is located about 3 miles below the bus pick up at Maroon lake. We were faced with a 3 mile road hike after hiking 14 miles just to get to the road. Just as we were debating our next move we saw Dolly's Mountain Shuttle headed back towards Aspen......it was Craig! He picked us up and gave us a lift to Aspen Highlands where we parked our car. Craig, thank you again for your help! We were beat and needed the lift! Can't say enough great things about Craig and Dolly's Mnt Shuttle!! read more

We hiked Aspen to Crested Butte and knew there were a few choices. One group of our friends chose another. We hiked over end of July and there was a mudslide on gothic road. Dolly had 2 vans running. 1 from the trailhead to the landslide. And another 2 our hotel. (shuttle 2 had beers waiting - after a 11 mile hike this is a big plus) The other you had walk 2 miles out. Our friends that chose the other walked out in a rainstorm and were picked up by Dolly and driven to their other shuttle's waiting point. No beers for them. Dolly is top notch...great friendly drivers and overall best shuttle customer service in CB. read more

Communication and customer service are a bit lacking. You'll get where you need to go, it just might not be exactly when you planned on being there. We arranged a ride to / from the West Maroon pass trailhead. After hiking 7 hours, there was a lot of confusion finding the right van. Next time I'll use a different service. read more

Outstanding service! Went over and above to get us where we needed to be EVERY day! Even the owner picked us up in his private vehicle to take us to and from the grocery store. Will always use this service from now on!! read more
