Not only did he pick the perfect wineries (based on our wine preferences) but he's just an incredible source of knowledge about the area in general - history, things to do, you name it and he knows it. And his picture taking skills?! Don't even get me started! He knows the best spots for the best pictures at every.single.winery. We ended up with tons of portrait worthy pics and are so grateful for the memories. While we did have Mark as our driver, we bumped into several of his team throughout the day and they were all incredibly friendly, funny, and helpful - you just cannot go wrong with this company. The little things make a difference and their customer service goes above and beyond (think: boxing up our wine, keeping track of it from stop to stop, walking us in to different wineries , and helping us unload at the end of the day). And not to mention, they'll pick you up and drop you off anywhere in Palisade on the day of your tour - so no need to worry about how much wine you drink, they've got you covered! I'm not sure how a day could be more perfect...riding around in the sunny, beautiful weather with your best friends, listening to great music and drinking wine. I assure you, your winery trip will not be complete if you don't do it in one of Mark's pedicabs. *Travel Tip* Ubers and Lyfts are essentially non-existent here but after 4pm you can contact Palisade Pedicab and they'll pick you up and drop you off anywhere in Palisade for $20.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they do offer a small selection of light bites if you're looking for a snack. My only complaint was the tasting process. Instead of receiving all of your tastings at once, you're given tasting cards and have to go back inside each time you're ready for the next pour. On the plus side, each wine is poured fresh and served cold, but it does interrupt the experience. If you're trying to relax outside and take in the view, getting up every few minutes to go back inside becomes a little frustrating. Overall, the beautiful setting and friendly staff made it a great stop, and I'd definitely recommend visiting the main winery.

We knew there were plenty of wineries, but since my wife like trying new things and I didn't know where she had gone in the past, I had her pick the place to go when we got in and she 'randomly' selected this one. We couldn't have been happier. They have plenty of places to sit outside, but we went to the upstairs patio that overlooks the vineyard. It was a great choice. It's very pleasant, the view is beautiful, it's covered (so you're not baking in the sun), and when the breeze rolls through, it's perfect. We were a little taken aback that we had to go "all the way" downstairs when we wanted more wine, but then realized that it's the 'winery atmosphere' (remember - first day in to Palisade). We absolutely loved sitting on the patio and having a couple glasses of wine. We spent the next day visiting a few other wineries, but after two others, we decided to go back to Carboy. Sat on the upstairs patio again and listened to the live music (with a couple glasses of wine). It was amazing. Carboy has an assorted selection of food that can be ordered. We didn't order any, but it looked amazing and the people around us that did order things seemed happy with it. The only thing that we commented on was that when there's live music, we would have loved to have had the option of a food truck. If that had been the case, we both agreed that we probably would have stayed and had dinner there (as it was, we decided to leave and get dinner from a restaurant). If you're in Palisade (and are visiting wineries), I highly recommend Carboy. Personally, I'd skip the tasting 'flight' and go straight for a glass of wine, but that's mostly because the tasting varies from white to red (and I'm not a big fan of whites).
