They both agreed on a plan, and Macy worked on my hair throughout the appointment, with occasional check-ins from Holly. Unfortunately, the end result was far from what I expected. Rather than informing me upfront that achieving the look I wanted could compromise the health of my hair or result in an undesirable yellow tone, they proceeded without offering any alternative solutions or honest guidance. My hair, which had always been healthy, is now damaged and significantly compromised after this appointment. For the $300 I spent, I expected a much higher standard of professionalism, communication, and care. Paid owner, Holly a deposit - 875$ for a wedding hair and makeup 5 months before the wedding. She told me to pay on her personal Venmo account so she didn't have to pay taxes through the Dollheads Venmo account. Stupidly I did as she asked. Three weeks after I pay deposit we are clearly not getting along. I decided I'd like a refund and request from Holly the $875 back. She says she will give me half but not the full amount. Keeping 437$ and cuts communication of 100% I try to dispute charges through Venmo and quickly find out because I paid to her personal account and not her business account the charges cannot be disputed. No doubt she probably knew that would happen. Zero services were give, no contract signed. Lost $437. I feel robbed and scammed.. read more

Holly is the absolute best! If you're looking for fantasy colors you have to go! I've been going to Holly for years for hidden rainbows and each time she does amazing work! The color is sooooo vivid and I get the most amazing results every time. Every time we come up with a new look and it gets better. She gets such joy out of working with hair and getting to create new fun looks. Each time I come in, she's always so excited to create a new color creation and she cares about her clients. Me and my daughter in law went and got our hair trimmed, my color was supposed to be permanent, it washed out in two weeks. My daughter in law had a temporary blue color on the very end of her hair. There were no signs for pricing. We paid $500.00! The owner would not let the person working there do their job! She was all hyped up. I guess making $500 for such a small amount would make me happy too. If you go there ask the price before you get the service!!!! read more

This place is so nice and really does a wonderful job, but being a college student I cannot afford to pay $75 for a shampoo and haircut.

Holly is the best, and most creative, colorist I've seen. In fact, she could work for the stars!

I made an appointment with Holly at Dollheads and I told her that I would leave everything to her. (I have never done anything like that ) I scheduled cut, color, styling, brow shaping & color & make up. She didn't disappoint! It is very rare to have someone this talented living in East Texas! I left looking like a completely different person and I'm loving it! If your looking for a make up make over or even just a hair make over she is your girl!!! read more

Holly does great work but it is incredibly expensive. Being a college student, it was nearly impossible to afford. She also bleached my hair, which made it really gummy, and then cut off three inches of my hair because it was beyond repair. When I was getting my hair red and black, it was flawless though. I just wouldn't let her bleach it. read more
