Not only is the store a dirty mess. The plants are mostly dying and NOTHING is priced as marked…read more I went in today to buy over 80.00 worth of garden things, when I went in the price (the only price that was hanging there) for potting soil was $3.99, when I went to pay for my purchases I was charged $6.99 for the soil...I said the listed price is $3.99... let me show you...so I took the cashier over to the huge pile of dirt with only $3.99 marked...I was told oh well that's the wrong price. I very calmly stated that Consumer laws state if there is a listed price for something, that is the price that the retailer can charge and must sell it to me for. The owner/manager actually YELLED at me when I said that...and this is what he said... If you are not intelligent enough to know what the price is and pay it , you can leave my store!!! I was shocked. And angry. I said are you kidding me, we have laws that state how you can sell things and because I am asking to pay the price you have marked I am not intelligent? This is customer service?? He started yelling at me in front of many other customers and my 8 year old daughter. I was furious. I then yelled I have an IQ of 141 trust me SIR it is not lack of intelligence it is lack of proper store pricing and management. He then yelled (in front of everyone) get out of my store you stupid woman! I am stunned. My daughter started to cry!! I will be contacting Consumer and Corporate affairs and the Better Business Bureau. I feel verbally assaulted. Luckily there is another garden/loonie store right next door... the Happy Dollar Mart... where we found BETTER flowers and much better customer service!!! If you have to go to a loonie store on 6th...DO NOT choose Golden coin!

I've know this place for 12 years now and it has been always great! They have the cheapest flowers…read moreand bouquet with lots of variety. Their potted plants are wonderful too! Sure they're not the freshest flowers like some of the major grocery stores carry, but they're good enough for their price! I think the owners of the store has changed few times but they are always nice people and friendly. It always makes me feel welcomed there. Only thing I don't like is the interior. It's kind of dark inside and bit crammed. But other than that, price is right and everything is good.

I've popped in here a few times and also had one or two extended visits…read more I was enticed here having been to Bianca's other location in Surrey. Tldr: I would recommend you go there instead. The Coquitlam location has a rather poor layout with narrow aisles and food products spread throughout the store. Most of not all are past their best by date which you'll hear Bianca herself explaining does not mean they're expired. Yes she has her own in store promotional videos playing on repeat. Generally I would expect items that other supermarkets have passed on to be heavily discounted. Some of the prices here are competitive, others seem haphazard. It feels a bit slapstick as if the people who price items at value village are putting in a shift here. I digress - once in awhile you'll come across something good - perhaps popcorn or another snack, perhaps a gallon can of beans, perhaps a Nike swimsuit or t- shirt with some loose threads. Generally though, go in with low expectations and you might be surprised. Plenty of parking out front and the location is just around the corner from The Brick(& a value village).

This place is an old school discount variety store and really reminds me of Army and Navy or…read moreZellars or any of those old discount stores of yore. On Tuesday it is seniors day on food so bring your parents and grandparents. The service was great as the cashiers will also ask the age of your parents and grandparents to see if they qualify on savings on food. This place has great value on well....everything! Pro-tip check the best before date on food as some items are past their best before dates but are still OK and priced cheaply because of it. If you need anything for your home including rugs, appliances, toys, clothes they have that too. In a way this place is like a super dollar store where you can still find a lot of things for less. Your dollar will go father at Bianca Amor's!

A very quiet mall most of the time, especially on weekends…read more There is nothing much here and you will only come here for specific businesses located here. It is not a shopping or eating place. The upper level seemed to be filled with kids' activities and a CPA office. Plus the washroom which is clean and spacious. Inside the mall, you get a mini food court with only 2 stalls - Korean run burger place (IT Char which is excellent!) and a Japanese sushi place (Woomi - never tried), a music school, salon, dollar store, liquor store, cobbler, game area, fresh produce and others. Outside on the strip mall section, there are Starbucks, Pizza Hut, pho place, booster juice, sally beauty supply, nail salon, etc with Safeway as the anchor tenant. Parking lot outside is big with plenty of spots. Be careful to park at the 2 hour side as they are very diligent in checking the 30 mins only section. Many have gotten tickets there. I guess it is a good thing this is quite a boring mall as it makes running errands or grabbing a bite easy here. Less wait and no worry about parking. McDonald's is across the road and Shell has station is at the corner.

If you are out and about, use the washrooms on the 2nd floor (to the left of the stairs or take the elevator) they are gorgeous and spacious. I adore the pet food store with a slant on healthy eating and raw food. The produce store is full of vibrant stock and pre-cut stir fry packages that are priced well. The Nail Salon (Chi Nails) is A+. There is also a Liquor Store, Safeway, Sally Beauty Supply, Starbucks, Subway, Pizza Hut & a Fish and Chips Place.
