I had picked one main blue aluminum balloon, two white balloons and two gray balloons, but by the time air was put into them, they were almost all white balloons and didn't go with the bouquet. I had to add a blue balloon to add some pop for colour. When I got home, I noticed a balloon had a 'Mr. & Mrs' on it which didn't go with my birthday balloons. The sales girl obviously noticed that, but couldn't be bothered to tell me of my mistake in picking that balloon . And after paying almost $16 for liquid filling and helium for all the balloons, not even 24 hours later all of them except for the aluminum balloon were deflated to the floor. I figured the loose balloons they sold are old and therefore leaks. If you bought the prepackaged silver foil balloons they would last, as mine did. I will never go back there again. My old sneakers were the most comfy shoes I've owned. I can walk miles on the Vegas Strip with those pair of Nike shoes without my feet hurting. It's old, it's got holes, not on the soles but the sides, I didn't care... but I agreed with the hubby only because I am not able to dry them from the boat tour at The Niagara Falls. It was soaking wet. The store is huge. All the shoes are displayed out on the floor so if you like a pair but it's not your size then you're out of luck. The aisles were in sections by gender first then size. Clearance means not the latest model shoes so don't expect the latest here. The store was organized and neat. I noticed that all the shoes are on the shelves and not strewn down messy on the floor. Eventually, I found a pair of shoes. It wasn't love at first sight but I guess it'll grow on me eventually. Definitely more than what you can get at TJX stores and quite a bit more than Bath & Body! A 7oz, 1-wick candle was $36, buy 2 get 1 free! Tiny travel candles were ~$6ea. If I liked any of the scents, I wouldn't have a problem paying these prices, but given the "subtle" scents, I didn't see the value in the pricing. I was barely able to smell some of the scents even holding the candle to my nose! I came in at the same time as another customer who was ordering in bulk and I was ignored. The other customer said that the pricing is better if ordering in bulk. And she also likes the fact that these candles aren't heavily scented as she's not a fragrance person. Although I don't douse myself in perfumes, I don't really see the point in buying pricey, scented candles if I cannot smell them!

I remembered that this Dollarama store was in the same plaza. I'd try my luck for canned tuna here. I frankly don't know why it took me so long to visit this store. I am in this plaza for Kettleman's Bagels and Farm Boy. I can add this store to the mix. This Dollarama is probably the largest one that I've ever been to. It was spacious and inviting. Halloween and Fall decor merchandise hit me when I first walked through the doors. I was on a mission to get canned tuna, so I walked the food, beverage, and candy aisles. They were easy to find and nicely organized. I found my cans of tuna. $1.25 for a can was definitely better than what I saw at Farm Boy. I saw Pasta Roni next to the canned tuna section. It intrigued me. Too bad I didn't see Rice a Roni. I would have freaked out even more by belting out the jingle. The beverages at this store were great. I saw everything from Gatorade to kombucha. This store has Bai and a huge assortment of pop, too. I need to return and try Ocean Spray's diet cranberry. It was my first time spotting it. I had a competent, friendly man at the checkout. He was relaxed and nice. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I had a reusable bag with me. I stuffed it with my purchases, thanked the man, and headed to my car. The delivery is severely delayed due to pandemic which is the only unfortunate thing.
