I came specifically to look at their books and the prices of books was amazing. I brought a novel home for $3.99. They have a lot of kitchen and home goods, rugs and small selection of garden things. I looked at the prices of some of their home appliances and it was fairly priced. What put me off about this place was the restroom mainly. It was so dirty, and not maintained. I blame mostly customers for throwing stuff on the ground including dirty toilet paper, who does that? There were not a lot of employees but someone should check in on the bathrooms because it was so gross. The employee at the checkout was so sweet and welcoming though, so I think I would come back if I'm in the area again.

Today's visit felt a little different though as soon as I opened the doors it felt clean like operating room sterile type clean which I appreciated! However it also felt very sparse the aisles and racks that are usually over flowing with products were very neat and very limited! I couldn't tell if they were limited due to low inventory or if they were limited for COVID reasons? Jury is still out on that one! During the check out portion of my visit there were bottles of hand sanitizer everywhere! The employees sprayed the counters down in between each transaction! Not only were the employees were mask but they had a barrier of plexiglass to help keep them safe! Overall I appreciated the measures the store took to keep its employees and customers safe. Which is great because I try not to "shop" at the same time as many others who have a 9-5 job. I woke a different schedule so later the store stays open the better for me. There is plenty of parking so no worries about where you are going to park. They have a array of clothing some high end brands at pretty good discounted prices and other clothing items ie shoes and purses are also available. At the tile I went I did not see any designer purses, but again I did come around 8-9 pm so most of those could have gotten sold. I did like the earring collection which was asking for some great prices. My collection is coming up just off of one visit to Gabes. They have a variety of snack type foods and other accessories, makeup items, workout gear/equipment, and miscellaneous things for the house. I would definitely come back but might try to venture out a little earlier to see if the selection is much better.

I love the merchandise they have. I went in to find a rocker for my son. I found the same one that he has at daycare. His babysitter paid 45 dollars for hers and I paid 3 bucks for mine. It was in great condition, I just wiped it down and washed the seat cover. Did I mention they have a great selection for work clothes? Awesome blazers, and work slacks. I've purchased everything from new York and company to white house black market. Overall great store with great products. I asked our cashier, "Joe," if I could enter my phone number for any discounts or to accumulate points toward membership benefits, and he rudely said, "It's too late." When I asked what he meant, he repeated that it was too late because the store was closing and he couldn't allow me to enter my number, even though it wasn't 7 p.m. yet, the store was still open, and there was still a line of customers checking out. I wasn't asking for anything complicated, just to enter my number on the keypad right in front of him, ring up our items, and check out. I also asked if my mother could sign up for a membership, since I'd been raving about this store and she was excited to join. He said no to both. I was genuinely confused because he seemed annoyed with us, and we hadn't done anything to him. Confused, I asked for a manager. It wasn't a miscommunication, since Joe spoke perfect English. I just genuinely didn't understand the refusal. While waiting, I overheard another cashier explaining the day's color-tag discounts and promotions to a different customer. Joe never offered us any of that information. We were met with rudeness and dismissiveness from him. When the manager came over, she had an attitude and talked over me as I tried to explain what was going on. She said Joe meant "there's no deals on Sundays" and pointed to the sign. I told her I already knew that, I can read, and I've been a member there for years. I was trying to explain that Joe had refused to let me enter my phone number, sign my mom up for a membership, or tell us about the color-tag discounts, claiming it was too late because the store was closing , even though there were still people in the store. The manager's response was that if we needed discounts, we should come back Monday through Thursday, which missed the point entirely and left my mother and me feeling like we'd been stereotyped as customers who were only there for discounts. I've shopped at this store for years and brought my mother because I wanted her to love it as much as I do. Instead, the visit left us feeling dismissed and stereotyped over what should have been a simple, friendly interaction. Joe and the manager were rude and unwelcoming, which made us so uncomfortable. A little patience and basic courtesy would have made all the difference. Please work on your customer service.

They have a nice selection of baby and children's clothing. I couldn't find a lot of shoes in a size 10 and up though. The smaller sizes had better options.
