I was in the area and decided to stop by since in my area where I live all the 99cent and Dollar stores have closed and don't exist anymore. I was hoping to find a new Brush since my brush just broke in half, or maybe some pool accessories. The first thing that stuck out to me was that instead of the typical Green sign, this store had Red lettering for the name, which I assume is to match with the whole shopping center. Upon entering I decided to peek at the Halloween decor and it was interesting that whole shelves in this area were just empty. I then perused the aisles and noticed that most items in the store are maybe 5 dollars or higher, and then only certain areas are labeled like $1.75 sections. When I got to the hair brushes, I was disappointed because the brushes they have are small and light and would not hold up to brushing my thick hair but yet they were were still on the pricier side of things in the store. No pool accessories found but we are in september now and usually stores are selling for months ahead so I wasn't surprised and that's ok. I did score in another section where they had drawer liners for 1.75, I did need some liners for two drawers in my house so I snatched up one of the nice designed ones. Overall, I would come back if I needed supplies for arts and crafts and things like that. Also they have a pretty decent glassware area and each one is in the 1.75 area. read more

Dollar Tree girl you are doing the most. Stopped in to grab a bunch of supplies for a project and found EVERYTHING I needed. Service super helpful too. Not everything is a dollar tho- just to keep in mind. And you can't take the carts out to the parking lot so get ready to carry those bags if you do a haul. read more

Stopped in to Dollar Tree today in Westlake Village. I picked up some foam paint brushes, roller tray combo kit, artist brushes and a few other items. Nice store and helpful and kind staff. Highly recommended read more

Tell me why i tried so hard when "Viki" was absolutely rude!! The most unhappiest human I've encountered today. I'm sorry I didn't have smaller bills and you had to break my $20! It's the holidays!! If I can fake a smile on a tough day so can you! They didn't have what i was looking for but didn't ruin my day! Smile Viki. The store looks somewhat organized but low selection. The gentleman working the floor was pleasant. Thank you sir. What can you expect from the dollar tree? You get what you pay for. read more

Always 7 plus people in line and never open a second line meanwhile other employees don't care. Consistently been like this for 3 years that I know. read more

Basically was ignored my entire time here. I understand the desire to pre-close and get your shift over with but there was a lack of human decency because I was not even acknowledged by the two women who were working the night shift. Just sad honestly and I don't usually leave reviews but this really rubbed me the wrong way. They both had AirPods in and said not a single word to me which is wildly disrespectful. Staff could definitely be re-evaluated and maybe hospitality could be in the work environment vocabulary here. It's very easy to acknowledge the existence of paying customers. read more

We still can get a good deals with small price that is awesome from Dollar Tree. We are happy that we still have dollar tree store.

Apparently there is a new policy at Dollar Tree. If you bring your own bag they will NOT pack it or give you paper to wrap your breakable items. They only do this IF you buy bags from them. Wow, way to support the environment - NOT! read more

I bought $50.00 worth of stuff. Couple of items marked $1.25 & I got charged $1.75.!! read more

Bravo and thank you to Alberto who went above and beyond! Something has changed in this location and it's fabulous and very appreciated! Wonderful people working here. Shout out to great customer service! read more

Employee Alberto is AMAZING! Super fast, personable, & kind- I got balloons and he made it so easy and welcoming!

This location always has plenty of parking as it is in a strip mall. The place is kept clean and well maintained. They offer a nice variety of items including seasonal merchandise. Customer service is mediocre. Like other Dollar Tree locations, they are super understaffed. Whenever I come here, there is only 1 check out line open, causing long wait times. I understand it is not the employees' fault; management needs to work on opening up at least 1 more check out station to decrease wait times and lines. read more

Literally the rudest woman rang me up with my dad. He said hi to her and she said nothing at all the entire time, had a scowl on her face and hit my hand as i was reaching for my items, didn't say sorry either. read more

I was checking out, buying a couple of birthday cards and saw that they were selling gift cards to other stores. I asked the cashier, Nancy, if they are able to provide a gift receipt and if there are any additional charges. She said yes to the gift receipt and no to the charges. So I paid for a $50 gift card and she handed me my sales receipt. Upon asking for the gift receipt, she tells me the sales receipt she gave me is the gift receipt. I told her that's not going to work for me and she can just process a return. She refused and said no manager in store until morning. I told her that was unacceptable and she told me she'd call the police if I gave e her any issues. Poor customer service. Bad attitude. Lack of knowledge. Overall a huge thumbs down. There are other similar stores with much better customer service. They have lost my business forever. Nancy needs better training. read more

This Dollar tree is so big and clean it had everything I was looking for. I had gone to 3 different ones and this one had all the stuff. I was so excited read more

Great concept, but stolen. True, 99 cents store has so much better prices (hehee), but how can you go wrong with cheap cheap and more cheap items? Great for greeting cards (all $1), gift wrap, holiday items, and off-brand/inferior cleaning supplies. All else...crappy cookies and candy, frozen items, etc. Wrong location, too. I mean c'mon, this doesn't belong in snooty Westlake Village. The store is fairly new, but it feels old...and smelly. Has a place for me, but rarely. read more

The old Caucasian man who works at night is racist af. I came in, an educated Asian man, living in agoura hills, to buy: packing tape one time, wrapping paper another time, and some greeting cards the most recent time and I always have to deal with this guy. I always greet him politely and he stays entirely silent through the whole transaction. I stood at the door and waited to see how he was doing to deal with the people behind me and he was entirely a different person. The lady behind me happened to be white. He was chipper and friendly. Low key, I don't care, but still it's 2020. Get it together. read more

Lots of good deals I get 125 glasses and lot of candy way cheaper here it dose take a long time for the check out hate that

I had the worst experience at this store. Nancy was the cashier that night, she thought she could double charge me for an item because I was distracted with my small children. When I came back in to bring it to her attention she was very disrespectful and said " you were distracted, i told you I was ringing it up twice" Regardless of being distracted, doesn't give anyone the right to rip me off. As I gave up talking to Nancy, I went to grab the item I was double charged with. read more

Awful customer service! Came in to buy cards. Went to the register was not even greeted, I had to greet her. She acted like I was a nuisance. I've worked customer service for over 30 years and wow I would be upset if my employees acted the way this employee did to me..... read more

Good store, strange location. Staff works hard I can tell. Pencils for a dollar and a quarter beats me

Shopped at this Dollar Tree on a weekend evening. This is best organized and cleanest Dollar Tree I have seen. The aisles are wide, the selection is great, and the employees are helpful. There are some great deals here. The only downside is the store was nearly out of all balloons when I visited. read more

Store is spacious, however, seems to be understaffed. Long lines at checkout. The yarn bin has been practically empty for the last 3 months. Although this is a nicer location and space, the Thousand Oaks store seems better managed. Indeed has a position listed for store manager here and the pay is less than $40k annually. Therein lies the problem. They need to pay more for decent, reliable management. read more

First, everything is $1 which really sets it apart from the other dollar, .99 cent stores that say art at that price and go up. Clean place to buy cheap stuff. Basic but generally decent household supplies. I like the 10 pack of disposable razors, and use a fresh one each week. Some of the foods, drinks and candies are name brand. read more

I wasn't able to get the employees name but whoever the lady that worked Saturday night on 2-11-23 was extremely rude. She had dark hair and was the only employee on shift tonight. She told me I wasn't able to exchange 3 items I had previously purchased from them because I didn't have the receipt. I told her that I am able to do that if the tags and stickers are still on the items. I've done it before with them and it is on their website. She didn't care about what I was telling her and was blowing me off with a very rude attitude and demeanor. I dont recommend this dollar tree. read more

Why even have multiple cashier stands, when you only ever have 1 open? There are 20 people in line and not only can't you open another cashier but have to do a money count? Seriously. I went to this location while passing through about a month ago with my 14 year old daughter. There was an adult gentleman working that made my daughter feel uncomfortable. My daughter and I were located in different aisles and she sped to me to let me know one of the workers couldn't stop looking at her and smiled without saying anything while he looked "up and down". As I looked up the gentleman walked into the aisle, stared at my daughter then turned around when he noticed me giving a snarky face and pulled my teenager towards me. My kid was creeped out and we walked out briskly. I was going to complain to a manager but no one was located in front of the store so we just left. One thing to note is while a lot of teenagers my daughter's age might look more mature, that is not the case for mine. I didn't get the guys name but he was a taller, slender male likely of Hispanic decent. I would call or do something more concrete than a yelp review but there isn't much here for local authorities or even corporate. I am also a single mom and would like not to be in harms way. Thankfully we don't live there and can choose not to visit this store- I just had to say something in case someone else experienced something similar that can provide something more concrete. read more

Obviously there are great prices. No doubt about that. The problem is the service. These people take so long to check out customers. It should be a quick swipe through the scanner. I feel like I'm watching a slowed down video when I am checking out at the dollar tree. The employee is looking about 25. If they looked older 75, I could under stand the lack of speed. These kids should be thriving. Not taking 40 seconds to swipe each item. I understand that it's a new storeKyler but the employees really need to pick up the speed because no one wants to wait 15 minutes in the line with two other people read more

This store truly is a disaster! It's been open for awhile now and I thought by now they would have their act together, but no, aisles are strewn with opened and closed boxes that look like they have inventory to be put on shelves. The shelves are a disaster, there are never enough cash registers open, nor enough carts. Many times they are out of gas for the Mylar balloons. It's a mess and has been that way since it opened! Looks like they don't have enough help or good management! Get your act together Dollar Tree, the store on MOORPARK is so much better run. read more
