It sounded a lot like Building 19 from the descriptions on yelp, so I knew I HAD to check it out. We found the location to be well laid out and packed full of incredible bargains. This brought me back to my bargain hunting, working class family explorations. Many of the brands and styles were current and most merchandise had plenty of time before expiration. Compared to my Building 19 days of my youth, this is a major step up. If I lived here, I would be a frequent shopper.

At this point in time, OSJL has a few stores in my area. Living in Westwood, I live right between the newer Dedham location & this store on Route 1 in Norwood. I MUCH prefer the Dedham store for size, variety, and cleanliness. Yet, I still return to this store when in the area, and need clothing, hardware, seasonal, pets, candy, office stuff, books, or just to check for new great deals. Staff are friendly, parking is always available, and stock is great. Dedham is larger, and good at some times, but my original discount superstore still is great!

Vintage fashion, unique items of yesteryear, and new artisan crafts and practical gifts are meticulously displayed in attractive booths from different owners. Excellent reuse of a historic building. The entrance is #12, just past the overhang connecting this old mill to another terrific old brick mill (that hasn't had a renaissance just yet). There was nice selection of veneers, they also have some beautiful looking and usual wood. They have power tools, stains, varnishes and a lot more. They also have a classroom in the store with a regular schedule of classes. There are also a number of helpful people on hand that seem to know what they are talking about. They are conveniently located on the southbound side of Route 1 - between the intersection with 95 and Gillette stadium. This is not remotely like shopping at one of the big box hardware stores. I will definitely be back!
