Prices are higher overall for everything but I did see a pair of coach shoes for $20. None of the display items are for sale, which is a shame. Some furniture pieces in the back, as well as departments in every category including pets and home improvement. Clothing was organized by item and size and was done very well. I wasn't impressed by their home decor, which was just muh. Prices deterred me for clothing, but I did find a nice pair of shoes from France for $6. Disappointed that nothing was vintage in any department. Lone staff was attentive and obsessed with cleaning. Highlight for me was the $2 plants at the counter.

I asked the cashier and he just said he didn't know. So I returned the items and then I asked to speak to his manager. I found the manager and said she didn't know and she only got paid $15 an hour to work there. Meanwhile, she had headphones on and wouldn't even take them off to listen to me. When I showed her the sign, she ripped it down, read it out loud to me. I was wrong. It was buy one soft dog food, get the hard kibble for free. She slapped the sign back up onto the shelf as she turned her back to me and walked away shouting, "if you people would just read the signs!". As a manager, she acted very unprofessional. No one is helpful in there! If I could give less than one star, I would.

I went in the other day and a store associate told me they were getting a delivery & I had to leave because they couldn't have customers entering & leaving during a delivery. Was sitting in the parking lot trying to decide where to go & saw them let 3 other customers in to shop while the delivery was taking place. I'm taking my $300 a month to Walmart now- it's a longer drive but at least they're dependable & appreciate my patronage.

I taken the prescription to Walgreens on Sovereign Ave., Atlantic City and they said it would be ready in two hours. When I went back to pick it they informed me that somebody had already picked up my prescription at another pharmacy but could not tell me the location where it was picked up.I request that they return the written prescription.Started to panic, knowing that my wife was in pain and it somehow her prescription was given out to somebody else. It's apparently somebody scamming the pain medicine. And desperation, I drove over to Acme pharmacy in ventor where i encountered this female pharmacist who calm me down and started to investigate and try to get this corrected. She spent about an hour calling Walgreens, corporate insurance company and explain the situation. She's finally was able to get my wife's insurance company to cancel any payment for the pain medicine we never received. She was able to fill the prescription for my wife.She was a true professional and a angel.The company should be proud that they have such a compassionate person working for them.I am changing pharmacies to Acme were I know I'll be in good hands

I was very disappointed (and shocked) by this business owner's response to us today. I have been a…read morelifetime resident of the town where this shop is located and have had dealings there in the past. About 30 years ago, my mother had him put a 2C Kenya diamond (?) onto her antique wedding band and I had a 1C one put into an older ring of mine. He did a great job and I still have them both even though I no longer wear that type of jewelry. My adult son was visiting from Florida and needed a minor watch repair. I suggested we drop it off there so he could have it fixed before he went back. Mr. Harris was extremely rude to him and said that he did not do watch repairs (even though I recall having some done in the past and his website advertises that as one of his services). He said he only replaces batteries so, since I had some that needed that, I asked how much that was. He replied , "as much as I can get". I assumed he was joking, but when we all laughed, he said "I don't do watches, I'm a jeweler." My son asked if he knew anyone in the area who did any watch work and he replied, "Nobody." His demeanor wasn't appropriate for a longtime business owner. I have seen this gentleman in church and have read good reviews for the business, so maybe we caught him on a bad day. I just felt the need to leave a review so that maybe he'll be kinder to potential customers in the future.
