I gave this place a five star because every time I go there I find all my religious candles. They keep a really good stock of them.

You really have to pay attention to what you're doing and going through, and potentially going to buy. For example, Taped up boxes may not be what they seem, so you have to ask to open them (you can't open them yourself. There's a station you take it to and an employee inboxes it). Hotbins has specific dollar days where on Saturday "everything you buy is ten dollars an item" and Wednesday is "everything you buy is two dollars an item". Put 10 items in your cart (they have shopping carts and the Ikea big blue bag for your stuff) on a Friday, you're walking out the door paying $120 plus tax. There are items "priced as marked" and it can range in product. For instance, smart device charging cables were marked as $6 a cable (USB-C to Lightning, USB to Lightning, USB-C to USB, old style USB to whatever. Charging bricks I think were $6 too). There are bigger items marked as more or less than that days' discount (clothes, fragrances). I didn't catch the pricing on those, as it wasn't something I went over to look at. One challenge is, this store has stuff that is readily available at the dollar store (for example, I saw a twelve pack of Elmers Glue Sticks unopened. Going in on Saturday, I wasn't about to buy that for $10 when the Dollar Tree has the same package for 1.25 plus tax). Why spend over five dollars on a single item that you know you can get for a lower cost at another store and not on a discount? Yes, HotBins is a store of returns: Amazon, Target, Costco, etc. So it's possible twelve or ten dollars is well worth the expenditure if it's a big ticket item (an Amazon Echo Show holder for less than retail price? Sure, if you already have the Echo Show and want the holder), but even at the two dollar mark on Wednesday, there is still a possibility of paying more for the item than necessary. Again, you might be able to get a single $100 retail item for at least 75% off or more. So if it's something huge, you're getting a deal. BUT.. by mid week, it's slim pickings - store is closed on Thursday to restock the bins as they're open Friday to Wednesday. To reiterate the taping of the bosses: majority of the items are sealed and resealed. You must go to customer service to ask to see what it is, as the box description may not always match the item. The workers are more than happy to assist, and ask you don't open the boxes yourselves. If it's not something you want, they will repackage the item and put it back in a bin for someone else to pick up and ask. Overall, the store was clean and well lit. Music was on and not completely loud or in your face. Unfortunately I don't think I'd be back as I found it to be not a really great deal on the day I went.

I visited specifically looking for the new Stray Kids album, which had been released the previous day. There were none stocked on the sales floor, despite the Target app showing plenty of inventory available at this location. If the inventory is available, especially for a newly released item, it's frustrating for customers to make the trip only to find that the merchandise hasn't been put out. More concerning was the condition of the restroom. It was genuinely one of the dirtiest public restrooms I've encountered--and I've seen cleaner restrooms at some questionable gas stations. A store this busy should have much better attention paid to basic cleanliness. I was also uncomfortable hearing an employee openly mocking people while talking with another customer. Regardless of who or what they were discussing, that is incredibly unprofessional behavior to witness as a customer. After three visits, this location has consistently been disappointing. I generally enjoy shopping at Target, but this particular store needs significant improvement in stocking, cleanliness, and customer service.

I came in simply looking for a new pair of sunglasses, and Jana immediately stood out for her professionalism, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm to help. She was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoughtfully suggest styles for me to try, all while making the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable rather than rushed or transactional. What impressed me the most was her level of engagement and initiative. She could have easily remained behind the counter and waited for customers to approach, but instead she actively helped guide me through different options, offering expert suggestions and encouragement as I tried on several pairs. She made me feel confident and great in every pair I tried. In fact, she suggested a pair that I would have never picked out for myself -- and I loved them so much that I purchased them immediately. I walked out absolutely thrilled with my purchase. As someone who studied Fashion Merchandising in college and worked in retail for over 15 years, I recognize truly exceptional customer service when I see it. Jana demonstrated the kind of service, product knowledge, and personal attention that elevates the entire shopping experience and ultimately drives sales. Employees like Jana are incredibly valuable and truly represent the level of service that keeps customers coming back. I hope she receives the recognition she deserves -- she absolutely earned!
