It was about 9:40pm and we were shopping two at a time and after wasting a lot of time because of the 2 minors at a time rule. With about 2 minutes before 10pm closing time, she locks the doors and doesn't let in the rest of us, not allowing us to shop, when we clearly had enough time. 0 stars.

The self check out register was left unattended with an issue from a prior customer. No one appeared to be working in the store. When we arrived we saw a delivery truck but someone should have been at the registers. I walked around looking g for someone and yelled into the area where it says employees only and no one responded. I finally located a man that appeared to be straightening up shelves. I asked him if he worked there and he soad yes, what's the problem? I told him that we had been waiting at least 10 minutes to check out and he asked why we didn't do self check out. Believe me if there wasn't an issue at that register we would have. He said he'd find someone to help us because apparently he couldn't ring us up. Over 5 minutes past and a gentleman finally came to ring us up. He asked us what the problem was as if it was our fault that there was a line or an issue with the self check out register. Unbelievable customer service. I even called the store while we were waiting to see if someone would pick up that we could tell them we were at the registers. No luck.

They have huge sections of clothes (women/men/children), shoes, housewares, small appliances, media (video/music/books), toys, games, and even a small section with furniture. The prices are MUCH better than what I had recently seen at a different store. They do have a parking lot, which gets fairly busy, but I've always found a space. To drop off items for donation, you can just bring you car to the front of the shop, and there are large plastic bins where you can place your items. There is usually an employee there who can advise you, and can also give you a slip to fill out for tax deductions. Tip - If you do drop off items for donation, they have been giving out coupons you can use in the store too. We were able to get an additional 20% off this way!

My 11-year-old daughter was so excited to try thrifting and she scored big with Abercrombie pants, a Y2K baseball tee (the kind that has contrasting sleeves), and a character tee she loved, all for just $6 total. I used to thrift back in high school too- it's great for the environment, easy on the wallet, good for charity, and always adds one-of-a-kind pieces that make a wardrobe or a gift special. It was fun to see it come full circle with my daughter's first thrift haul. NOTES/TIPS: **Restrooms available **Easy self-checkout, plenty of parking, and even paper shopping bags at checkout to carry your treasures.

Closeouts, closeouts, and, oh yeah, more closeouts!…read more It's clear that this store has been around for a long time, and is still doing well. The first time I was here was when I was a toddler in the 90s, and now I'm old enough to see what they have, and yes I've been here a few times. This store has a huge clothing section, and limited selections of pajamas, slippers, undergarments, luggage, bath towels, table cloths, kitchen supplies, and shower curtains. Most of the areas were very organized, but the kitchen supply area was a little messy. But then again, I don't come here for that. So what do I come here for? It depends, but usually it's for pajamas, table cloths, and shower curtains. But I don't get all of them in one visit. Sure, I can get those anywhere, but why here? REALLY LOW PRICES. Other stores would charge higher for these items, including Wal*Mart, but because these are closeouts, you won't expect to spend A LOT on just one item. Regardless of brands and low pricing, I've never had a major issue with anything that I got here. Keep in mind that because this is a closeout store, what they have on the shelves and racks is all they've got. During my recent visit, I needed to see if they had any short-sleeved pajamas as mine were getting close to being worn out. But all I saw were the winter ones, and when I asked to see if they had any, they politely told me that what they receive and stock is all they've got. I was disappointed, but I understood. Maybe they'll have it next time or something. But I didn't walk out empty-handed though. I was able to get a new table cloth at a cool price since my old one was just way too out-dated. Customer service is always fine. Overall it's a really fine store. I will always stop here whenever I'm in the area, particularly when I'm coming back from Ikea or Jersey Gardens Mall via US 1 & 9.

I'm a quality versus quantity guy myself. Sure I could fill my house with particle board bedroom sets from IKEA and Target but what's the use when they'll all be sawdust in a year. Enter Dollar Tree where everything's a buck. Too bad a dollar is worth fifteen cents versus the 1967 baseline so, is that power strip from parts unknown really up to the task of the six plugs you have dangling from it. Don't worry, that dollar smoke alarm should get you out in plenty of time - guaranteed or your money back. Would George Washington lie to you? History recalls that the good General even purchased his dentures here. You got it, one dollar. Call me magnanimous but I like to pay at least eight quarters for my home security apparatus and dental appliances. Fifteen cents doesn't buy what it used to, especially if you're in the market for sense of the common variety. These stores I'll never understand. One star. One buck. See you at the next garage sale.
