I shopped there on dollar day recently and bought six items, ranging from a shower mat to a box of envelopes to some banged-up boxes of ziplock baggies. On $8 day, they sell luggage and kitchen appliances, but people line up for hours to be the first ones in the store to get the best items. I did that once and got a couple of humidifiers and a yoga mat. So it's kind of like a giant jumble sale, only the items are new (though sometimes damaged or missing parts).
