I visit FD for items such as paper products, cleaning supplies, greeting cards and wrapping paper. They have good prices on aluminum pans for cooking and plastic dishes and platters, which are nice to have on hand to bring an appetizer, dessert or other item to a party. You don't need to worry about getting your dish back! I have also purchased underwear for my son there at a good price. They do have additional clothes selections if you are on a budget. If you are looking to save a few dollars then FD is worth a look. Of course it is not a large retail store, so the selection is limited.

The stocking is inconsistent so I can never rely on being able to get the products I come in for. This is particularly true for buttermilk which I buy weekly. Yes, it is a specialty item but the store is plenty large enough to keep it in stock and perhaps carry more than the one expensive option offered. In terms of the other selection, it is hard to find unusual ingredients and yet there does often seem to be a decent selection of tropical fruit. The bakery has very mediocre bakes and an average selection at best. There is nothing truly horrifying; I mean to say the place is relatively clean, no vermin, nothing that could actually get me to stop being lazy and go somewhere I enjoy shopping. This particular branch is pretty basic and low-tech. Finally, the staff and employees are a mixed batch that kind of breaks down to be 25% spiteful, 50% ambivalent, and 25% pleasant. If you have better options or more motivation, head elsewhere.
