I normally go the Dollar Tree in Troy (in the Walmart plaza) but I was on my way to Panera to pick up curbside, and this was the only dollar store in that area. It had kind of an old/funky smell inside. I saw they had cards through the window, so that was encouraging, but their Halloween selection is pretty limited; they maybe had like 10 different card designs to choose from, but 7-8 of those were for little kids (grandkids, children, etc). I ended up buying five for family and friends, and good thing I did because they have a $5 minimum limit for credit cards. The final reason I'm giving them 3 stars: the cashier was not wearing a mask. The man next to him beside the counter was, FWIW. He had a very thin layer of plastic sheeting between me and him, so I'm guessing that's why he thought it was fine ... however, I'm "high risk," so I definitely wiped off my credit card with a wipe when I got back to my car. I wouldn't stop by here again, I will just go to Dollar Tree next time. But they do have a lot of cards (non-Halloween ones) if you need them.

Also seen other patrons walking around with a cart full of merchandise and discarding what they do not want any old place . I am sure the employees work very hard to clean and keep the store as tidy as possible and the store should not be judged by who works there but how rude some customers are.

First off this is my opinion from shopping with my Mom a few times in the year 2018 and once in February 2019 before she passed. She certainly enjoyed the variety of items here plus our one hour monthly shopping spree together! On Wednesday, June 29 I met my sister here for the Customer Appreciation month of June plus the celebration of 40 years for Ollie's. I will admit this location in Roseville, has more variety of merchandise from books, clothing, grocery, seasonal, pet supplies, laundry, cleaning, coffee, tea, snacks, toys, shoes, bedding, towels, kitchen gadgets, tools, school supplies, greeting cards, canned goods, Summer items, Garden and Lawn items, Pots and pans, shampoo, makeup, that I saw while pushing the basket and viewing everything. She was the heavy shopper compared to my 5 items. She lives 4 miles away so her comment is "Every week the truck delivers different items, so a customer must stop here weekly and check this store if you are curious or comparing prices from the other popular local stores. I was amazed with the high inventory on shelves in the different departments and end isles that I shopped at. The center areas are stacked as well with season items which currently is Summer. Photos attached as well to assist with my review. Note: I always check the brands here in comparison plus where from along with expiration dates and of course the prices before making a purchase. Ya never know! The upbeat music in here was a bit to loud so a shopper can either enjoy and dance to it lol or be distracted with it while shopping. There were plenty of shoppers and their baskets going around well with the flow so no basket accidents or incidents that I saw. When it came time to check out my one slight complaint was only two cashiers were working therefore my time to pay was 10 minutes. In closing, Congratulations Ollie's on your merchandise milestone! May this location keep up with the good bargains, pricing, variety of merchandise and continue with their slogan "Good Stuff Cheap!"

I was happy to purchase a beautiful Yellow Forsythia Artificial Wreath for My Front Double Doors and 2 sets of colored Tulips for an artificial floral arrangement at this Ollie's Bargain Outlet. I also purchased Serta Soft Cool and Warm material Bed sheets throughout my browsing and price checking with comparison. Yes, this location maybe disorganized at times or messy areas of towels or other sale items but shoppers can be the reason because every time I shop here for a sale item or check on an ad item, the staff here are working the best they can and hard at times unpacking boxes to stocking shelves. I've been greeted with a Hello at times which is courtesy of them in between their busy work schedule. If busy at check out and a long line begins, another pleasant employee will open up another register. While this is unfortunately the case, I must add that I do see employees out doing what they can to remedy the situation, and all of the employees I've interacted with have been friendly and helpful. The store is large, and I love their huge selection of books. They also have a very large parking lot, so there is no issue finding a spot. It's great for yard and home items, also rugs and carpet remnants. Ollie's could use some polishing, but it's still a great quick stop shop.

As of this writing 5/10/26 they're condensing the store to make room for Bed Bath and Beyond merchandise, so there's some great clearance prices.
