A discount/savings-forward home furniture and decor store. Most of their floor is dedicated to beds…read moreframes and couches, but they also carry rugs, wall art, baby furniture, bookcases, end tables, gazebos, outdoor furniture, and more. They primarily carry Ashley furniture, but they have a few other brands as well. Note: Do be aware there's a knife store inside the furniture store flying "Don't Tread on Me" merch. PROS: -Fantastic pricing! Remember: the blue tags mean the price listed on the tag is HALF OFF. (I only found that out halfway through.) I thought $130 for a tall bookcase was pretty good, but once it was halved, that's just ridiculously good now. -Really friendly service. They clearly know the line between "being helpful" and "giving you space to explore". They popped in every 20 minutes or so, but they mostly kept their distance to allow us to sit on and discuss all of the different furniture. -Different ways to get your furniture. They don't offer delivery themselves, but they have a company they suggest using and all the details about how to use it. They have show models you can take home that day and other options you have to order in and wait for. Good options. -Good clearance selection. It's definitely a hodgepodge of stuff, but it's a CHEAP hodgepodge of stuff. They have lamps, chairs, couches, gazebos, auto parts (?), and more. It's a whole bunch of random stuff. CONS: -I'd love to see their pick-up hours extended for out-of-towners. They close pick-up at 6pm, and we weren't able to make it out of work and make the drive to get there by 6pm (traffic at rush hour is intense!). We'd have to come in on the weekend or take a day off work. -Otherwise, nothing! We didn't come away with anything, but they had a great selection of items, and I think this was probably one of the best places to start our couch shopping. We'd be back if we were looking for adding new furniture.

Timing was with me this week as I was looking for some flower pots and they are on sale - buy one get the second for 50% off. The price before the sale was already a good one, so off I went. Lots of inventory to choose from, too. It is fairly hit and miss, but one time they had sparkling water on sale for at least half the price sold in stores and generally they never go on sale. Had to check with hubby first and he gave me the green light as he is the one who drinks it and is also the one who normally doesn't like me to stockpile anything no matter the price. I did not clear them out at once. I went every couple of days to let other shoppers take advantage. Surprisingly, they even carry furniture and outdoor canopies with netting that looks fairly nice. If you haven't been, it might be worth it to you.

This is a typical, medium-sized Big Lots store…read more As with any store in the chain, they mix full-priced items with liquidations and otherwise discounted items. They offer a number of European and Asian food products that you might not find anywhere else. I find any big lots will have drinks on the shelves that may have been there for years. You have to be a regular shopper at their stores, but you may see the same items sit for a rather long time. That doesn't really seem to happen with the food, in general, and shouldn't be a problem for anything else, unless they don't dust. It makes sense to sign up for their rewards card, as they run specials for rewards members, as well as discounts after so many purchases.

This location is perfect for those folks that love to clothes shop. You know they have coats and other clothing. Didja know they offer beauty supplies, home decor items and snacks and other goodies? Plus, this is another spot where we buy phone chargers (since Mrs. E. goes through them like there's no tomorrow). Our biggest problem was finding what we wanted. It's not well organized and anything worthwhile required a lot of searching. Especially, in our size or the right colour. Everything is in such disarray, we could clearly see the effects of their being understaffed. We managed to fill our list, but it took an hour. The worst part was our wait in line. They need to have more than one cashier to service nine customers. The store is clean, but is in serious need of attention. 01/22

I stood in line for 20 minutes or longer. Arianna looked Hispanic and was waiting on another Hispanic customer ahead of me which took forever. While Arianna was at the cash register, there were 3 other employees, 2 other Hispanic women and a black man around the cash register doing nothing. They were neither courteous and displayed no customer service skills. No one said, someone will be with you in a moment. They look at me and continued talking with each other. There was 1 other customer in line. When I was called to Arianna's register, there was no apology for the wait. I addressed the issue of the 3' standing around 4 vacant registers doing nothing. The excuse was that one of the cashier was off the clock. The supervisor didn't ask her to wait on me but as I addressed the issue, the cashier who was allegedly off work, was asked to go to Register 2 and wait on other Hispanic customers. I told them that they were racist. The other cashier called another customer to her register and look at Arianna with a smirk on her face to say how you do like that. I wanted to put a couple of items in layaway. Arianna said that they stopped taking layaways but the layaway signs were still posted on the racks. I asked if I could put my coat on hold, Arianna said no. To add insult to injury, upon my departure, Arianna left the device on my coat that set off the store alarm. Kaitlyn another employee had to check my bag and take it back to Arianna to be removed. In addition, Arianna put my large coat into a smal thel bag. Kaitlyn was trying to force the coat in the bag and realized the bag was too small. I asked her to get a larger bag. Kaitlyn was very kind and very professional. I have never had a problem with the value of any products. I almost left everything at the store with the poor service but I really wanted the items. Because of Kaitlyn's kindness made a difference. I did call the corporate office to tell them about my horrible experience. The representative was very nice and took down my complaint and said she would pass on the information. She apologized to me.
