I wanna start by saying I have literally never written a review on any store restaurant ever, but this is absolutely insane. Never in my 24 years of life on this earth have I seen a store quite like this. Every single aisle is full of trash and empty boxes (both broken down and not) and every shelf is half empty, but don't worry, I'm sure one of the 3 things u came in here to get are here somewhere, you just gotta look around the whole store cuz its probably in the absolute last place u would think to look. I came in here for a folder for my school work, and I didn't find it the school supplies isle, of course, cuz that would be too easy. They really make u really work for it, but I truly believed in my heart that there was a single folder somewhere in this dungeon, so I searched high and low, and ended up finding one on the complete other side of the store underneath an opened, half eaten bag of chips. I'm baffled about how corporate is unaware of this store, because if they did it would be shut down that same day. Worst store ever, anywhere. So dirty, disgusting, messy, smelly. Especially the outside! Needs power washing, need to get rid of the homeless that hang out in the parking lot, clean all windows, get a new or at least wash the outside trash can and DEFINITELY power wash around it. The inside!!! OMGoodness!! Everything needs to be taken out, clean floors, I mean a good old scrubbing! Clean all shelving, all baseboards, counters behind cashier's, all windows inside. someone needs to step up and be a Manager (where are you Manager?) and tell the employees what need stop get done. Today I had the best Cashier. Her name is Kalonia. Very effective and very nice, and has a great personality.

The customer service is always pretty good here. However, the outside of the store kinda makes me not even want to go in. The parking lot is always REALLY DIRTY. And I think someone lives in a van in the parking lot. Don't get me wrong, I am all about that "van life"/"bus life" or whatever. But literally EVERYTIME I drive by here, no matter what day/time, that van is always parked outside with a race car strapped to the top. Idk, could be an employee perhaps? But I see it there no matter who's working at the time. Anyway, inside the store, as stated by previous yelpers, it is quite messy, but the selection is decent. And again, the service is good...so I'll continue to stop by when I need small things like pens, notebooks and folders! read more

This review is based solely on my recent visits and interactions with the manager Alexis. She was wonderful. She asked if she could help me find anything when it was obvious she was busy unpacking, but her question seemed genuine. I told her what I needed and she went above and beyond helping me figure out what would work and showing me where it was in the store, all while troubleshooting other customers who needed it without ever seeming rude and with a smile on her face. She went above and beyond and I saw her check on employees as well and send them on breaks when they needed to go, taking over for them as needed. She is the type of manager I would want to work under and I feel like this store will only improve the longer people like her are around. read more

This Dollar Tree store is much smaller, and packed much fuller, than any other Dollar Tree I've ever been to in other towns. I stopped in to find hair clips and a claw barrette to pull my hair back and I did find exactly what I looked for and even a couple of additional things that weren't on my list. The selection of items was very good, but it was so jam packed with stuff that it almost made me feel a bit claustrophobic. Now, I realize that this in no-frills discount shopping and that I shouldn't expect stellar customer service or fancy marketing displays, but it really felt like somebody's preteen brother was just emptying boxes and tossing merchandise willy-nilly all over the shelves. A solid 3 stars for having exactly what I need, but I just can't say I'm a fan of the chaotic organization/disorganization of the shelves. I know space is a premium in this little beach town, but seriously, they either need to move to a larger location, carry fewer items, or come up with some other way to pack it all in there with some sense of order. read more

This Dollar Tree is more depressing than any other Dollar Tree I've shopped. But I shop there, because it's the closest (see also: Costco). It is small and cramped and there is always a very long line for the inevitable one cashier working. It is the kind of place where I think I might get assaulted in the aisles and no one would notice or care. And the parking lot. Oh, the parking lot -- at night, it is something else. I went into this store to purchase some stationary and other similar items for my sons preschool teacher. I was giving them to her as a teacher appreciation gift. They do have good deals and some good items for the price. But the store is filthy and disorganized. The line were way to long and there was only one cashier. It was extremely hot in the store. I understand its a dollar store and you get what you pay for but I think the conditions of the store could have been better. I have been in other dollar stores and they were cleaner and the employees were friendly and they had adequate staff for the amount of customers in the store. My advice to this store: clean up and have more staff on hand for your peak hours. read more

The outside of the store is absolutely disgusting!! It's filthy with stuff splattered on the walls. I almost turned around and left as I had to hold my hand over my mouth so I WOULDN'T DRY HEAVE!! The store manager and staff are commended for their outstanding customer services oriented performance. When I am in Seaside area I stop by for few items. On this particular day ( on or about 12:30PM, Tuesday, 11/5/2019), on business, I was in Seaside. I stopped at this DT to buy some items (Total $16.33). One line was open and good number of customers were ready to pay for their purchases. The manger (female, I did not get her name), was in charge of and monitoring the traffic flow while she was doing her job. Suddenly, she asked one of her staff members to open the 2nd line to serve the customers. My attention and observation was that, the core value how this DT team members are working together to serve the customers timely and efficiently. NOTE: It took place on 11/5/19, I kept a receipt, the cashier (sale associate) was Nadja. Poor customer service. Cashier spent more time making personal arrangements with someone else , then the usual meet and greet stuff with who he was ringing up. Didn't acknowledge any customers for about 2 or 3 customers and just kept talking to someone else about exchanging numbers, catching up, etc. Should have been more customer focused and was just kind of disappointing read more

I love the Dollar tree. On the way to my dance convention, bought some treats for my room and my friends from candy to juice to potpourri for the hotel room. This is a tiny store, only two check outs and only one person working on Friday at 5pm so the line was long. What a dump! Start off with the parking lot. Garbage everywhere. Enter the store and not a cart or hand basket in sight. There was more product on the floor than was on the shelf, looked as if stuff was thrown. Finally saw some carts but they were full of go backs. The shelfs were almost empty, poor selection. The marina and Monterey dollar tree are way more organized, neat, and stocked. I live in seaside but I will drive to either of the other stores just to avoid "That". read more
