We split our grocery shopping between Roussos Wholesale, Trader Joe's, and Grocery Outlet. Their packaged greens last incredibly well, and their dips are fantastic choices. I also love the oat milk and can't resist wandering the potato chip and chocolate aisle. :-) From one local to another, I want to express my gratitude for everything you do. We thoroughly enjoy every interaction we have with your staff. They've always been incredibly accommodating and friendly and I've saved a buck or 2 !

Hellman's mayo is the Best Foods of the East and for $.99 for half a gallon I should of picked up a couple cases. I went back a day after to find all the mayo sold out. All 400 units flew out the doors within 36 hours! I found my sulfate-free conditioner on the shelves and bought them all. $5 less than the price I pay on Amazon... It's staggering to me how many people still have never heard of this place. Roussos serves a lot of the local restaurants. I think a lot of people assume it's a wholesale-only gig, but there is a website where you can pick what you want. Their produce is always fresh. Order in the morning and expect an email that you have a box ready by the time you have drunk a coffee and stretched your legs . The team there is always super helpful to my wife. On the occasion something is missing or perhaps an onion is the size of a small planet, they've always been super accommodating. Since finding them, we have perhaps visited a farmers market 3 times and only buy out-of-season veggies from Trader Joe's, leaving the fresh stuff in the hands of the team ! Yes, I know I'll get to keep the food, and I got *my* order, but what about the person who is missing an entire bag of multiple items? Safeway doesn't seem to care about their experience at all, or the experience of their regular customers. Yes, DoorDash delivers the groceries - but Safeway CHOOSES to use DD drivers. Be aware that if you order grocery delivery from here, there's no accountability from Safeway and no way to report it to DD, you're just SOOL. I might have to switch to Walmart delivery. Also, every.single.bag had broken/ripped/useless handles because the contents were too heavt for the bags. Everything had to be carried into the house from the bottom!

It is a 4 percentage processing charge on all cards. We do not want to add that to customers small payments like most other shops are now doing and we are the least expensive benefit shop on the peninsula. Not one of our volunteers get paid and every penny except for electricity, cleaners and insurance goes to needy organisations like food banks, hospice and organisations helping the needy of this peninsula. I suspect that they often provide less than the number of pills that are supposed to be in an…read moreorder. Fairly recently, I watched as a pharmacist filled a prescription for me. He just estimated the amount of pills he put in the container; he didn't use any device to insure the correct number of pills. When I asked him, he said he was "just eyeballing it"; he said he had the experience to know he was filling my order correctly. He was friendly and on the positive side, all of the staff there I've delt with are pleasant and try to be helpful.

I ordered a birthday cake and gave them enough time to accomplish. Not only it wasn't done on time they made me wait. While one of the worst workers came in to the bakery. With McDonald's to eat in front of me. Not washing her hands, and to me things worse she literally stole a danish in front me and eat it without a care. She clearly didn't finish our cake because she was too busy getting McDonald's while on the clock. The store manager supposedly took care of it. But I don't believe he cares after this input I will call corporate and the health department, hopefully they will take care of this issue. Again avoid this store at all cost.
