The store is very cute. It is very easy to pass by because it is in a residential area. There are no other businesses around it and the signage is pretty subtle. There are minimal amounts of vintage items. There are lots of items you can find in other stores in Geneva, etc. There did seem to be an abundance of beachy items which I didn't expect in a place called Urban Farmgirl. If you are thinking that you will be checking out lots of vintage items or updated vintage items, that isn't the case. There is some of this, but mostly new items. It's a very cute store and worth a browse.

I was impressed that they were actually open at their posted hours. The place smelled clean, and items were marked fairly. You could tell many items were indeed second hand, I mean it is a used store after all. Ask anyone who has purchased second hand, and they'll tell you it is ON YOU to ensure the item is in a condition that meets YOUR needs. The chairs I bought, I knew I'd need to sink some money into to fix to *my standards*. They were $20. I then paid another $70 to rehab. I am totally fine with this! Not all people would be, but their prices reflect. Do your research, take the time with the item and then decide. They don't take returns and all sales are final. They literally have you sign a receipt acknowledging that fact. (I see zero issues with how they're running their business.) All this to say, I'll definitely be back! And to anyone new to the used shopping game, don't expect the sellers (JAMS or anyone else) to tell you the quality of an item. Unless it is NEW--it is USED. Therefore, any mention of condition is purely subjective. Interact with the item in question and decide for yourself, you're an adult (one would assume/hope). Now excuse me while I exit stage left.

Just like the other location, there's quite a selection of plus sized women's clothing as well as shoes, bags, unused perfumed and bath & body products, and accessories. Staff was very helpful and nice, and we both found a bunch of stuff! Their prices are very affordable: I got three dresses, a skirt, and a top for sixty bucks! You can't beat it. They also do consignment for items that suit their needs. Definitely worth a visit!

The sign on the door stated it was open until 9pm as it is Wednesday. No other notes/signs were posted. I sat in my car until 7:35pm hoping someone would unlock the door. During that time 6 other customers attempted to enter the store only to discover the doors were locked. I'm not sure what is going on. This is very poor customer service, and it's losing you lots of customers. At the very least, a note could have been left on the door assuming an employee had an emergency.
