Luckily, The Painted Attic started opening on Sundays and Mondays back in May. This is the exact place I dream of when it comes to antiquing. Inside this 1895 white Victorian home there are 14 vendors selling anything from Pyrex and Corningwear to cast iron, paintings, and used clothing. More than retail, it seems the place is now more of an artsy crafty place than a retail store. The entire place looked bigger...more space, since less retail. I thought they should have had some overhead music to fill the empty space, and give it more of a vibe. They still had this bar area, where they served wine (aside from the Jackass Cafe in the back). Other than a few sections, I found this store to be well stocked and clean. The parking lot cart corrals were cleared. The greeter was present and actually greeted me as I walked in. I found the stuff I was looking for easily enough and the things I'm usually challenged to purchase as my store, were here. A specific brand of cat litter, olive oil and my preferred brand of toothpaste. It's just so much cheaper at Walmart than getting them shipped from Amazon. It's hard to believe that I'm writing a positive, almost glowing, review of a Walmart. I guess I'm just used to my local store being so awful. Aisle are currently clear of stock cart with exception to end of asile in back, and the back aisle toward stock room. I'm not completely sure, but aisle seem narrower. Registers are now to left of entrance. Looks like could be an issue for customer trying to check out, standing and blocking others from going around aisle. The store looks cleaner. Overall it is presently nicer, but will it stay like this? Let's hope so.
