Unfortunately, as new employees have joined the pharmacy team, the level of customer service and personal connection has noticeably declined. This is especially disappointing because the pharmacy has been well-managed overall, and individuals like Andrew have consistently provided excellent service. Throughout my ongoing medical journey, I have remained committed to this location because of the compassionate care shown by a few dedicated employees. However, after recent experiences, I am seriously considering transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I firmly believe that every customer deserves to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of the situation. Whatever happened to treating others the way you would want to be treated? My most recent experience occurred this morning around 9:00 a.m. while picking up prescriptions for both myself and my children. I explained that everything should be connected under one account. The employee assisting me, a woman with brown hair, responded in a dismissive and snarky tone, saying, "Well, you didn't pull up no barcode." At first, I didn't realize she was referring to the CVS app, so I politely replied, "Oh, okay. Would that make it easier for you in the future? I can do that. Do you need my app?" Instead of answering my question, she ignored what I said and abruptly asked for all of the names and birthdates with an attitude. Customer service matters, especially in healthcare settings where many patients are already dealing with stressful circumstances. There was no reason for the interaction to feel confrontational. At 9:00 in the morning, customers should not be met with unnecessary attitude when they are simply trying to pick up medications for themselves and their families.
