It's so easy to use the CostCo app and see exactly what the current price is. If you're not a member, you should consider it. They have so many opportunities to SAVE $. Having the one hour early access is really nice so you can avoid the long lines and make sure you get what you came for. It's nice getting in early because you can cruise the various aisles and see exactly what they have. Sadly, they don't have any signs on the end of the aisles to let you know what's down that LONG. You just have to go down it and check it out. After a while, you learn what's where. I was disappointed to learn they were closed on Memorial Day Monday but after thinking about it, I believe it's a good policy for their employees. The seem to do a good job of selection and hiring. I've noticed they don't seem to have much turnover as I see familiar faces every time I go. Today, I tried the 'self check-out' for the first time. I made the mistake of putting me OWN bag I brought in the bagging area and of course the machine lost it's mind and had to call an attendant to come over and clear the machine.
