In addition, I once had a minor issue with product availability so I contacted Five Below Corporate who exceeded my expectations in resolving the problem. These stores have nifty and inexpensive products and are great for the budget conscious. I usually stock up around holidays and birthdays for treats and party favors. Very minor gripe (not reflected in the deserved 5 star rating) - recently when I was there they were selling a certain hot item and limiting to "3 per customer" as posted on the store sign however when I arrived with my daughter they verbally mentioned the policy was actually "3 per family and not individual." I don't have an issue with the limit since it's nice to spread the wealth however I do think it could have been better communicated and if changing a policy, it seems better to ensure the signs and advertising reflects the actual practice. I could see others coming in and arguing that point, and frankly my daughter was a little disappointed that she couldn't also "be a customer."

The staff: They do not interact with the customers and stand there talking amongst themselves. They get in your way when you are trying to maneuver around the store. They some times greet you when you come in and they always thank you after you pay. Products: They have a lot of different products here from weights, to snacks, to clothing and etc. Overall: This is like a high end dollar store because nothing is really a dollar at the dollar store as well. Because this economy sucks, I wasn't planning on buying anything extra. But the plant pots were great - colorful and with drainage holes. The food and cleaning supply aisles were also great. I picked up some toilet cleaner for a bargain. And my husband found windshield washer fluid for cheaper than Wallyworld. When we finished shopping, the person working the register was friendly and patient and had me sign up for the discount card. If you're staying at the neighboring Homewood Suites which opened 3 years ago, this place is a 30 second walk away and great for procuring travel necessities like toiletries, snacks, and medications during and after your stay. Regarding messiness, this store attracts a lot of visitor traffic from Menlo Park Mall and Roosevelt Park on weekends, including people with children, so shelves and clothing racks will understandably be a little messy. Since this location is next to a townhouse complex and three nursing homes, inventory for popular items also tends to run low without real-time inventory levels being reflected on Target.com. One of my biggest complaints about this Target is the T-shaped bottleneck for exiting and entering the parking lot. You'll also find some of the worst drivers ever here as they confusedly or recklessly enter and leave without yielding when they don't have right of way. For a more pleasant shopping experience, try the Hadley Center Target.

They took out the arts and craft sections for kids. I think it was a better store when it was a Mish mosh of random stuff for less. Now it's just like any other store.
