From knives to pots and pans to kitchen gadgets you didn't think you would need until you see them. They even have makeup, hair products, clothes, and anything you can think of. It was so much fun roaming around this store, and they have a variety of the same item. For example, my goal was to get a butcher knife. They have big ones, small ones, heavy ones, ones with short handles, and ones with longer handles. I spent a long time picking one out to my liking. The inside feels like a big warehouse with everything neatly placed in a way that you can just walk up and down the aisles with ease. There was so much to look at that I felt like I spent close to an hour or more here. Some things were reasonably priced, while others were a little higher. It really depends on what you plan on getting from here. I almost got a wok from there but decided against it because the one on sale was a little bit too heavy for me. If you are in the area and love kitchen things, I would suggest going to Shin Shin to check it out. It was fun for me, and I plan to take my mom there on our next trip to Seattle. However, I might regret that decision later, because my mom would just spend her entire trip there and not want to leave. Haha, I will keep you posted on this. Parking is plentiful. Credit cards are accepted. One thing that caught my attention, though, was that the employees would stare you down after a little while. Instead of having security cameras, they have employees at every corner who would randomly show up next to you to ensure you are "shopping" and not stealing. If you are okay with having a personal bodyguard while you shop, then there would be no issues at all. Have fun!

I had driven past Shin Shin several times in Lakewood, but always headed elsewhere. This time I…read moremade it a point to detour and check it out (4/17/26). It is a fairly large retail site that carried assorted housewares, some alcohol, restaurant gear, small appliances, bedding and linen, Korean hair & skincare products, and clothing. I was rather amused at the gigantic sizes of some bowls, woks, rice cookers, and cooking pots...literally could hold a toddler or two. As other Yelp posts have noted, they do have attentive store personnel that are at the ready should you have any questions. Unless you're a regular shopper, one will definitely be wandering and browsing every aisle since there are no overhead signage. After all that wandering, I did end up paying for a substantial back scratcher for The Homie and a floral print quilted vest for my mom. Both were reasonable and one was even on sale! Chalk it up to, you don't think you'll find anything in particular, but stop in Shin Shin for some momentary retail therapy.

This Value Village is the closest location to my house and it's my GO TO when I'm doing kid bedroom…read morecleanouts or garage cleanouts! I've donated here more times than I can count which I appreciate so much because if you're a parent, you know how fast the clutter accumulates. The donation process is super easy and there's literally almost never a line. The staff that I've encountered during my drop offs have always been really nice and they always offer you a 20% off coupon to use in the store just for donating. I've gone inside a couple times as well - who doesn't love to thrift, let's be real? They always have a ton of cool holiday knick knacks and serving dishes which are awesome if you have upcoming parties that you don't want to buy all brand new (cough cough, full price) stuff for. I do wish their kid's clothing section was a little better. Kids grow like weeds and it's nice to pick up lightly used play clothes every once in a while, but their selection here is sort of dismal for that. Solid location that I'll definitely be returning to for a donation run in the near future!

WTF?!?! I am literally in shock with what's happening with these chain resale stores!! Who do they…read morethink they are?! Thinking they can price their FREE TRASH so high! Are they H!GH THEMSELVES?!?! When will someone put a stop to this type of despicable behavior?!?! You're better off buying new from a department store or on line then buying used second, third, forth-hand (literal) TRASH from a corrupt money hungry "nonprofit" POSER who got EVERY SINGLE ITEM for free AND they get a TAX CREDIT that'll make you sick to your stomach! STOP DONATING TO THESE BUSINESS PEOPLE! THIS WILL NEVER GET BETTER UNLESS WE DO SOMETHING TO STOP THIS MADNESS FROM CONTINUING!!!!! And yes, I get how economics work and that the building and electricity and whatever else isn't free and I get the employees aren't working for free, but when you compare their profits to the cost of running a store and then factor in the portion they are contributing in donations- let's just say that there's no such thing as a non profit and the higher up the food chain, the more diabolical it becomes. To price things ABOVE what it costs NEW is unacceptable! And to say that nothing in the store is to be priced below $1.99 when you can find that very item at Lowe's for $.26- HOW DEMONIC CAN A COMPANY BE?!?! Charging $7.70 for a beat up, crusty tank top with a seam that is noticeably coming unraveled and it's the same tank top that Walmart sells for $3.98- SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!! I could go on and on about how disgusted I am with this company and what I saw, but it's not just this location or chain that's guilty of such pitiful conduct (GW)! Selling USED DOLLAR STORE ITEMS FOR $1.99 AND ABOVE because it's their policy is just an excuse for them to scam people! I even came across several item that still had the price tags from the original store that was priced below the $1.99 price tag (once example being a back scratcher that sold NEW for $1.79; and these bastards we're charging almost $4.00 for it!!!!!Okay now I'm getting so fired up that I'm gonna end this review with sickening "company" who doesn't deserve attention whatsoever for the junkyard it is! All I hope for is people DO NOT SHOP HERE EVER!
