The quality of the product exceeded expectations and we look forward to many years of use and relaxation. We have been living in Portland for five years and wish we had found City Liquidators sooner. We have a small craftsman cottage with limited space and David really helped us pick the right furniture for our space. If you live in a larger house the choices are endless. Not just furniture but antique bars, neon lights, classic oversized film and music posters and artwork. You can get a lifesize Harley Quinn or John Wayne wooden statue, credenza's or wardrobes along with any kitchen supplies and small appliances you might need. New and vintage choices abound. When you go plan accordingly as there are multiple floors of merchandise to choose from and free lollipops for the kids to keep them busy. Even if you don't buy anything, the first trip you'll be blown away by the selection and you'll definitely come back to get something unique the next time. That's what we did. Also, and most importantly, no pressure from the sales staff. They let you wander around and really look over anything you'd like. As I like to say you don't get the hard sell on the soft couch. Have fun.

A recent buying and delivery experience at City Liquidators was abysmal. Won't return. Yet another part of old Portland eroding.

Found some old-school cigarette matches (which was such a random, cool find). They've got a great mix of vintage bar sets, home decor, and kitchen items -- the kind of place where you don't really go in with a plan, but somehow leave with something you didn't know you needed.

The last time I was in, there were several walnut dining sets with chairs, one set covered in new turquoise fabric. Several couches, occasional chairs, dressers, coffee tables, floor lamps, mirrors and more, most mid-century. The prices varied depending on price and condition. In addition to furniture, they have home decor items. There were several ice bucket and cocktail glasses a la Madmen that I fell in love with! Colorful glass vases and objects, kitchenware, art and knick knacks. Especially loved a round appetizer tray on a lazy Susan and may have to go back and purchase it! The bright pink building on SE Hawthorne is hard to miss! It's on my way to many of the errands I run so I stop in frequently as the merchandise is always moving. The store is clean, well organized and no funky smell like some vintage shops have. Definitely one of my favorite vintage furniture shops in the Portland area!

Problem was, I saw that there were several other credit cards in the register as well, right next to mine. I haven't bought anything since. Now I get why she was so nonchalant about trying to help me get my card back. The only one I have, BTW. A lack of compassion and ethics. If you come here, don't use any cards.

I didn't see one that I wanted. I also noticed that there were a few items that might fit my brother's wife... but,... weren't in her desired style of dress (she wears career wear mostly). Maybe there's a person in your life who might enjoy the items for sale inside Rebelles. I walked here from a nearby location with Schmoopie. He's been back to this neighborhood a few times with other relatives of his... but, he didn't buy me anything. I was asked if I knew about the return policy for items. I replied if it's like the return policy at any of the women's boutiques in downtown then yes... I do know about it. There as a person who walked into this location when I walked out... but I didn't know about the theft in this neighborhood before. I have been walking in this neighborhood between about 2010 and 2014. So I probably stopped in between those years. Schmoopie said he likes that location. I did ask if there was another location further out in SE Portland, Oregon. I didn't know that there wasn't enough staff to keep the store open later in the evenings some afternoons. For the price point(s) everything inside seemed on par with the women's boutiques in the downtown core. I recommend you bring your friend who liked rings, or bohemian clothes.

We went with her 3 year old, and honestly, I think we had just as much fun as him. Every room had something different to see or interact with, and it felt like there was always another surprise waiting around the corner. The mix of lights, art, music, and creative exhibits made it easy to lose track of time. One of my favorite areas was the Secrets room. You could step into a phone booth, record a secret, and then hear anonymous secrets playing through the giant speakers overhead. Some of the kid-submitted ones were absolutely adorable and had everyone smiling. The biggest hits for our group were definitely the interactive light rooms, where the lights seemed to react to your movement, and of course the giant rainbow ball pit. Watching everyone dive in and immediately turn into kids again was pretty entertaining. We also checked out the gift shop on the way out. I ended up grabbing a magnet, a postcard, and a few stickers that I thought were really cool. And I have to mention this: I was oddly happy to find out there was an actual hopscotch game inside. After walking through the whole experience, I was starting to wonder if the name was just symbolic. Nope. There was hopscotch, and it made me laugh. Overall, we had an amazing time. It's fun, colorful, interactive, and works just as well for adults as it does for kids. If you're looking for something different to do in Portland, I'd definitely recommend checking it out. For us, it was absolutely worth the price of admission.

You can walk around with your drinks and explore the different rooms they had. You can even take a break and grab food- once you get in your time there is unlimited! One of the best rooms was the Secret Garden. This is where you stand under a cloud like dome and hear secrets from people who have recorded them from a month or two ago. They have a recording booth within the room and you sit there and confess things. Then it plays it back after a couple of months to make sure you remain anonymous. The secrets we heard were gnarly... Won't repeat any, just go there and see! That was probably the best room we went into. The other rooms were super cool, which included a ball pit, infinity room/light looking room as well as a semi-bouncy room. Really interactive and creative space. Entrance fee is not bad for the type of space it's in [Around $22ish?]. Just don't be a jerk and be respectful of peoples' spaces. Not that anyone was disrespectful to us, just saying!
