Nothing is a dollar anymore. Many items are over the new $1.25 they now charge. Just be aware.

There was someone who used to work there that is friends with the employees. She does not like me and I do not care. The employees have been gossiping about me and it was a deliberate attempt to make life difficult for me by not removing those ink tags. I will consider going to the party store but until those employees stop working there , I'm done . The owners have big hearts and will give almost anyone a chance at a job but when they can't keep personal matters to themselves and be professional , they don't deserve a job. I gave two stars since the owner refunded my money.

Anyway when I thought I explored almost everything within the reasonable 30-40 minute driving distance I stumbled upon hundreds of nonsensical extremely positive reviews about this very place. So I had to check it out for myself. Well...I guess I am not easily excited and I do not wish to desecrate what everyone almost worships for some unknown to me reason, but ...for me...personally this very place had as much charm as a giant ghetto Garage Sale.Someone just threw bunch of stuff in , no price marked etc.You may be surprised, but selling expired pharmaceuticals and food, especially food taking advantage of poor and hungry seems very unethical.Believe it or not best before or sell by dates are important and food poisonings are very real. I am sorry all I feel for you is pity. This place smells damp, looks like a dump and is not pretty.

If your going to shop temu Stop! Don't! Go to the dollar store simular items way less and…read moresometimes the same items and brands. Temu your paying there tricky prices and outragous shipping cost . Trust me it better to see what your getting! No hassile returns for full price & tax. Were as with Temu you have to pay shipping that when shipped back, shipping is almost more than item if returned. I guess you can say I got item from Temu that were not the same as pictured. My point? Dollar Tree is fare, good selections and friendly people that work there I Love Pocatellos Dollar Store instead of Constantly being Miss lead. Just my experience and opinion. C.M.

Bonus: all located in a small store, not a big box store -- no time wasted walking from aisle 5 to aisle 37. Favorite stuff: felt sliders (chair legs on tile), nylon rope, stretch wrap (temp binding of tools or hardware, spare blankets, pillows) painting supplies (cheap brushes, paint cups, drop cloths) for small projects, small tarps, craft paints, zip ties, packs of various grits of sand paper, plastic storage containers, hanging hardware, sponges/Scotch pads, nylon brushes to use and toss. OF COURSE the quality is not top level. But it's perfectly adequate for how much use I intend to get out of it. So, all you DIY people, just take a little wander through the hardware and craft aisles and you'll see a bunch of things that you NEED for this or that, and each item will cost you significantly less than you'll pay at WalHomeAceLows. What you won't find is someone to tell you what items will work on your project. Oh, well. DIY people know how to Google it. Probably you WILL find someone pleasant working at the check stand. (Note: this particular locale has a problem with not enough of these pleasant checkers working when it gets busy. 10 people in line and only 1 checker working? Needs improvement.) And since you're probably thirsty, getting your DIY stuff, so grab a can of pop for $1.25 and head straight home and GET BUSY. Sheesh. Burnin' daylight here. Summary: Recommend Dollar Tree.

Pine Ridge Mall - The men in Price Real Estate looked really nice and were hard at work!

After eight long years, I finally returned for a second time to the Pine Ridge Mall. I know many…read moreyelpers have been wondering about the current state of the PRM, so without further ado, I'll review what's changed since my last visit in 2013. As it turns out, not much. Still clean, still empty, still disorienting. The Aeropostale that employed my sibling during happier times no longer exists. Price Real Estate and the nice men employed there are missing. Even the Master Cuts vanished. Why did people in Pocatello stop getting haircuts? Is post-2013 hipster culture to blame? It's not a good sign when the most utilitarian store in the mall disappears. This absence has ramifications not only for the mall but also for society at large--it's an issue worth exploring further. Theories? That said, the Bath and Body Works seemed to be heavily populated upon my visit, thank heavens. Per usual, using my arms as shields, I had to physically battle my way to the back of the store, narrowly escaping from the army of eager salespeople desperate to squirt lotion onto my exposed skin. Thankfully, I located a couple of gift bags with ease and purchased them for my cousins as quickly as possible. Another win was T Shirts Plus. My partner's really into college gear, so I decided to gift him with an Idaho State women's basketball shirt. The helpful employee told me that if I couldn't find the precise piece of college gear desired, he'd be happy to design and create a custom order for me. Now that's service, folks. The photo shows the current state of the courtyard. Surprisingly, the same woman there 8 years earlier was still there in 2021, looking hotter and younger...how weird is that. You'll notice that the army-green vinyl booth seats forming a child corral of sorts remain from 8 years earlier--not sure I want to take a seat on that. It appears they've upgraded the Pepsi machine and added a claw machine and a "Minimelts" dispenser. As stated earlier, Master Cuts has been replaced by something called "Diva G's," which was closed on a Friday afternoon. It was pretty dark back there so I didn't get a good look at what they sell. So it remains unclear what products divas really need to function in this day and age. You might also notice that a "Hurricane Simulator" pod has been added. Tell me about this business model. How many people in Chubbuck, Idaho, want to experience a hurricane on any given day? Go on, surprise me! As with everything in this mall, I worry about long-term profitability and the ability to keep the lights on in this cavernous, dated space. That said, I upgraded to three stars this time simply based on consistency of the experience. In this regard, the Pine Ridge Mall never disappoints.
