They have a lot of stuff to offer here as most Marshalls do, but they could do better with having more people working the registers and moving a little quicker as it was hot as hell in this store. It took a good 15-20 minutes to check out. Not acceptable! Of course they had everything we were looking for and the prices were great. See you soon Marshalls ;)

This review is about the balloons!…read more This is my go to for blowing up helium balloons. They have an amazing selection - every color and every shape of a balloon that you can image. They are always well stocked and there is no shortage of colorful ribbons, weights and more. Staff is always friendly and helpful and balloon prices are fair. I often need balloons for work and for my kids and they can be WILDLY overpriced. Dollar Zone keep things fair and most importantly, my balloons always look great. This is where I'll continue to go!

Located adjacent to Wal*Mart in Cedar Knolls Plaza (formerly known as the Morris County Mall), One…read moreDollar Zone carries an impressive variety of merchandise in their small space with narrow aisles and cluttered shelves -- including non-perishable foods; tools and hardware; cleaning supplies, office and school supplies; disposable plates / cutlery and storage containers; greeting cards; and party supplies. Prices start at $1 and you'd be very hard-pressed to find an item for more than $5. The quality of the merchandise is more or less what you'd expect at that price point, but I'm occasionally surprised to find brand-name products on the shelves that would sell for two or three times as much (or more) at the big box discount retailer next door. My low review is based primarily on my recent experience in this location when I stopped in to purchase a padded a poly mailing envelope and wound up in a verbal argument with the cashier and his supervisor over the price charged for an item. There was a large handwritten sign taped on the shelf stating "6-Pack Envelopes - $1.50", so I grabbed a 6-pack and walked over to check out. There was no price marked on the package and the cashier turned to a supervisor standing nearby, who said without hesitation that it was $6. I quickly mentioned there was a large sign on the shelf that indicated the price was $1.50 for a 6-pack. The supervisor loudly accused me of lying to her and trying to steal from the store, then said the sign on the shelf wasn't right. When I suggested she take down the sign, she said she wasn't allowed to do that and instructed the cashier to charge me $1.50 for the item. I don't know if the staff was having a bad day but considering their poor attitude towards their customers, I'm not sure I'll return to this location any time soon.

This place is HUGE, you can get mostly anything that you need from household supplies, minor electronics ,party supplies, great craft sections , they even have furniture lol, for those with a certain taste palate, but to each his own lol! This is my favorite store, no joke! My daughters are always making fun of me for shopping here but I see them sneaking their bags of stuff they bought from here too, umm hmmm... I come here when I don't feel like driving to Walmart, but only for certain things, they are a bit pricey in my opinion, but they have so much more! Even great selection of balloons if you wanna do a quick bouquet or something So Yeah....if you are in the nabe, stop by here!

The concept is…read moresimple, stuff that didn't sell at their upscale counterpart are shipped here to be sold at deep discounts. The problem is in the execution. Less than 10% of their inventory has ever seen the inside of a Nordstrom department store. The other 90+ percent is crap that's either make specifically for them or close outs from brands that Nordstrom doesn't carry. Want proof? There are more Rack stores than department stores. Way more. Trading on one's name and reputation isn't a new concept. But in the end it serves to dilute their brand. Someone who goes to Short Hills willing to spend $500 on a pair of shoes is unlikely to show up at a Rack store looking to purchase the same. No so of a Rack customer who pays $75 and assumes that they're getting a bargain. They're not. Can't really recommend shopping there. It's a pity because it's a 5 minute clerics from home. Wife, kiddos and I did some shopping here recently for some pool supplies and arts and craft supplies for the kids. Since the oldest is 18 months, we were looking for cheap art supplies like markers, paper, paint, glitter, glue, etc... We didn't care about quality! Inside is neater and cleaner than most that I have been to! So that is a great positive! Staff is also friendly enough. I don't think that I have ever been to one where the staff cares how the aisles look or if everything is where it is supposed to be... And this place is no different! People put things back wherever they feel, I admit I misplaced a few items as well. Most of the items we didn't want we gave to the cashier. They had just about everything that we were looking for. We picked up tons of pool supplies and many many items for my oldest to play with. All in all it is a decent Dollar Tree, if you are in the area and want to go to one, this is a good one to go to!
