Not everything was $5 or less today though. I guess that's the state of things. I ended up buying a big bag of mostly candy for $31. Some for me and some as quirky gifts for friends. Self-checkout was easy. Overall the store was clean and well-stocked, though a little messy/disorganized. Some stuff, especially in the candy "bins" was not in the right bins, which makes the prices confusing. One of the candies I bought, I thought it was going to be $4 but it was $2.50. And a toy I bought, I had no indication of price at all, and it turned out to be $4. Their stock changes regularly so it's fun to just check in every so often to see what they have. And if you see something you're interested in, it's a good idea to buy, as it may not be there the next time you visit. Staff I talked to were polite and professional. Parking was easy - it's in a big strip mall sort of shopping center.

We had to throw out at least 6 NY steaks. My husband is a master griller/smoker of meats and he cooked the regular 10oz ones perfectly but they were inedible! Like trying to eat leather! And the other 2 were their grass fed ones also inedible! So when you get NY steaks (ungraded) for $6-$7 each? Thats why! They're crap! And the 2 "grassfed" NY's for $20? Yes it is too good to be true! Never again! Their produce section looks good however I didn't buy anything... I got some blueberries, tortillas, gallon plastic bags for food, and the cat litter that changes color depending on your cat's health. I would probably come here for pet food, chips, and some fruits and vegetables. Maybe not the meat though since the expiration dates are pretty close. There's some decent deals here though.

On this trip, I found an incredible score of Aulani Nu energy drinks (Mimosa) for 99 cents a can. This is a GREAT DEAL! Go get you some! The fruit looked good and fresh, too. In fact, even before prices skyrocketed at all grocery stores, many of the offerings at GO were quite expensive, not "outlet" prices. I've learned that when something is really expensive, they don't show the price on the shelf. So I don't bother with those items. In addition to bare or sparse shelves, I have found expired products on shelves and in freezers. I can imagine the tariffs are playing a big part in this, but not all. I stop in about every 4-6 months now, to see if they remain downhill. If I do decide to buy a bag of nuts or seltzers, the line is often quite long, and they don't get an employee to the register until a sizeable line has formed. Same for opening a second register. The line has to get very long before they take that major step. GO has a high tolerance for customers waiting to give their money to GO. In that case, I leave my item behind and leave. The employees are nice, they don't appear to be responsible for the bad retailing at this GO.

It's like the Japanese version for Five and Below. I also heard it is owned by Walmart. I read online that they have coffee pour overs and coffee filters for cheap. I found a ceramic mint green one that was $6 and the coffee filters were $2.25 for 90. I also picked up some chair feet covers to prevent scratching up my floors. I went a little crazy. I also bought a rice cooking mug that allows you to cook about 2/3 cup of uncooked rice and it comes out to about 2 cups cooked rice. I also bought a few odds and ends and some supplies I needed for my work tote for organization. They sell small cooking pans, some camping gear, travel items, small organization containers, laundry items for air drying laundry and mesh bags. They have some cute kitchenware and even nail kits and accessories. I did the self check out which they had a sign next to it saying bags were $0.15. I brought my own bag in. I will probably end up visiting Daiso a few times a year as there are so many cool things to help make life easier.

I was looking for shower sandals, and was able to easily find them at the front with their seasonal summer items. One thing I love about Target is the affordability of seasonal items. The sandals were only $5, and they also had other cute summer sandals. Going in there for a quick pick up is super easy because of the store layout. This Target is also connected to the mall, so you can enter either from the front or through the mall itself.
