While visiting Bradenton we ventured to Osprey with three glasses that were no longer useable. The dark haired woman who waited on us was less than pleasant or helpful. Her demeanor was indifferent the entire time we were there. She said we could only get clear glass unless we mailed the damaged ones in to the store. Then advised she only had the tumbler in clear, not the two mugs. I found a mug hidden in the back of the shelf and she gruffed and said I would need to mail the third in to get it replaced. Why would you not offer a chance to pay an upgrade for something else rather than make me drive the hour back to Bradenton and still have the issue not resolved? I get their change in practice, but can't the salespeople at least be cordial? From all the other reviews, I think that this type of attitude towards customers must be their new business model. I think I will just let my Tervis collection of glassware retire with grace and spend money elsewhere...it's not worth the hassle. Hoping you have a better experience!

I think of the experience I had using Tervis. I have lots of Tervis Tumblers. I purchased them at Bed Bath and Beyond, The NHL Store, and online. My daughter gives them to me in all shapes and sizes. I like the drinking glasses with lids. I have three different sizes. At one time they had an office in NYC and I did a review. They have over 300 employees. They were founded in 1946 which is impressive and historic to me. When I had a Tervis Tumbler that leaked I had a live chat with a customer service representative. Before I knew two new lids were mailed to me. They keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. You can get them with your favorite teams logo. There's something for every age and in many sizes too. I just want to acknowledge this company that's been in business since 1946. When I like something I want everyone to know. Tervis Tumbler has engaged in campaigns to help reduce the use of disposable plastics. On September 27, 2018, the company gave away 10,000 reusable tumblers to customers who pledged to stop using disposable cups. That's neat and it's a cheap way to try out a new activity without dropping a lot of cash in case you hate it. They even have skateboards there! Every time I've gone into a location, I've badly wanted to buy the squares to build your own fitness floor. I have no idea why, I wouldn't use it, but I want it, lol. I see this chain as a healthy mix of a place to get last minute items you forgot about (phone chargers, birthday cards, Tupperware, games to keep the kids busy) and a place that gives you ideas on things you didn't realize you needed (lots of storage options, home décor, nifty gadgets like lights for dark corners, a variety of travel accessories). Now, how does this location stack up? Well, less shelves are full of merchandise here. Our visit was on a weekday morning, so that might have been a one off, but as I was looking for something I had previously purchased at another location, it really caught my attention. However, the staff here was really friendly and funny at the register, which is more engagement than I encounter at other locations, so they balance out for my overall Five Below expected experience.
