There was a long line of about 12 customers at the check out. When I came along to get in line, some customers were vocal about why there wasn't another cashier available to open. Then, Steve came up front and said, who has a problem here? One female customer said, "I do." He said, "You can leave now." Then he walked to the back of the store. All of the customers in line were very upset and shocked by his comment. When it was finally my turn to check out, Steve had finally come up front and opened a register. I said, Steve, you should be fired for the way you spoke to the customers. He said, "You don't need to come back either". The cashier Jackson, handled this very well. He just did his job and he did it well. As someone who also works in retail, I don't believe Steve is helping your store to keep its customers. In today's economy and online options, it's harder than ever to maintain a brick and mortar store. This is the most convenient dollar store to my home, but I will be visiting others instead, due to this issue. My advice is to fire Steve!

Now i don't care about my $2, it's the principle behind it, and the attitude i received from whoever was on register which i believe was Amy.

I had only ever brought one other thing in years ago and I don't recall being treated so badly. The two items didn't fit into their plastic bins (in the little serve yourself area), so I asked Becca at the counter how she wanted me to handle it. She was nasty and truly rude to me. She snapped at me like an grouchy old dog. I took my stuff and went to another bigger, nicer consignment store less than 10 minutes away on McKenzie St. The people there were much kinder (and friendlier, and patient). Pretty sure this place only stays in business because the location is central to PGI and convenient. Also, some folks are willing to put up with Becca's distainful treatment just to get rid of things. It'll catch up eventually though. Look at the recent reviews... someone is not happy in her business anymore and it shows.
