I haven't been to a Dollar Tree in forever but man have times changed.. this Dollar Tree has been here forever. Lol. I went in here for a few things cause it was close and I was in the area. Nothing in the store is $1... Everything was at least $1.25. they even had a section that was $3-$5. I get why, everything is going up and they need to also up their prices to stay competitive but still keep their prices low. I knew that when I shop here there could be some gems and found some good items for pretty cheap. I think one thing that can make the experience better is to have 2 ppl on the register. When there is only 1, the line goes to the middle of the store 7-8 ppl deep. My kids loved this spot and they go crazy cause they can get whatever they want. Good value spot. read more

I often visit this location because it is always fully stocked. They usually have what I need. The workers are usually friendly but today I was unfortunate to be served by the rudest young girl. All I have to say is choose better employees. I do instacart, and the app tells me to let the register know it's for instacart, idk if it's because they have to check out a certain way or if it even applies for all. I say it out of habit. The lady at register 2 working at 10am had no name had on a green dirty shirt with holes on it. I told her it was for instacart and she told me very rudely "is that suppose to mean something to me?" I don't know where anyone gets off talking to customers like that. Let alone hiring someone with ZERO customer service. read more

Dollar Tree is a GREAT place to pick up a wide variety of household items. Even with the price increase to $1.25 I still enjoy shopping Dollar Tree. I purchase my household cleaning products and crafting basics for my small business from Dollar Tree. I usually go to the Ontario (Riverside Drive) location, today I went to the Ontario Mills Parkway location, Store #!4734. I cannot believe the inappropriate, flippant, dismissive and disrespectful cashier who rang up my merchandise. The store receipt indicates her name is Danyelle. Her tone, attitude and word choices when speaking to speak were that of a "high school or social media bully". I highly recommend "Customer Service Training" for this employee. Her behavior towards her customers is not what we as face to face clients or share holders deem as acceptable. Please consider my review and provide training as you deem appropriate. I was thinking of making some arts and crafts and this particular Dollar Tree store came to mind. It is not the nearest one, but at the insistence of my children, it's where we went. Everything happens for a reason. I stocked up with my favorite things. My kids also did their own shopping as well. Margie the cashier was very kind, helpful and went above and beyond. I need to be fair about this review, due to the fact it only pertains to the manager on duty. Her name is Lacey. I need to use the restroom immediately. I have a real medical issue called CROHNS. The employee I asked first said it was "out of order", because customers jammed something in. I asked if there was another one available and she stated YES, although it's only for employees. I asked if I could please use it. She stated I need to speak to the store manager. I proceeded to front of the store. The manager Lacy finally came up front and stated. The bathroom is out of order, I asked if I could please use the other on since no other business in the center had public restrooms. With her not so nice attitude she said NO. THEY ARE CONNECTED. I'm not sure exactly what that meant. I know it's difficult to keep restrooms clean and some people are just gross. So basically go to the restroom before going to the dollar tree. Haha. read more

So this happened tonight. I was in line to check out. When I was second in line, the woman ahead of me paid. Then she and the checker left the line and walked over to the corner where the balloons are. The customer chose a balloon and the checked filled it with helium. Then these two spent the next five minutes walking all around that section looking at and picking out balloons!!! At this point there's like 5 other customers in line. I asked a worker walking by if she could help us and she said she couldn't. After another minute I asked again, saying it wasn't right that the clerk left the line to help the customer shop. Now this worker says loudly to another worker, "I'm going to help these people because they are being inpatient." What????????? This is beyond bad customer service, this is straight up incompetence followed by rudeness to a customer who is only asking for a minimum level of service. What a horrible way to run a business. I'm seriously obsessed with the Dollar Tree. Don't you dare call me cheap because there are hidden gems in every location. During the holidays, this is the place to be for decorations. Also, if you're a DIY arts and crafts person, there are so many things you can buy for your projects. I made a lot of things for my baby shower bought at this location. It's a really big location and the employees are super helpful too. Idk about buying food though. I'd stick to regular grocery stores for that stuff. read more

At the 12 o'Clock hour we have 10 People in line and at least 6 employees on the floor and only one serving the people at the register. Administratively staffing assignments were poorly managed as the lunch and late afternoon hours are high traffic times as people make a quick stop on lunch or as they are headed home. I think that some adjustments should be made to make the visit more efficient for both patron and employees. One of the supervisors, Gina was on duty and she informed us that there was a shift change at that time. Again, an adjustment should be made to help during high traffic times for patrons. Attitudes should also reflect a higher regard for customer service. In contrast we were met with condescending remarks and attitudes insinuating we just need to accept. Hopefully you can take at look and revamp some of the procedures in place to make the visit more enjoyable. Thanks read more

I love dollar tree but this particular store is the worst. It has gone down hill in the past 6 months. they are always out of stock, their aisles are bare and the store is dirty. I don't know what is going on but I no longer will be going there until they clean up their act. I now go to the one off Milliken. they need new management. Do not EVER order anything for pickup from this store. It took our order 3 weeks to get to the store for pickup, the clerks won't scan the items out, and the manager is always at lunch. Twice we've been to the one on Riverside Dr to pick up an order, the 2nd time after calling the manager and he put it at the register but the clerk says the manager has to scan it out and he went to lunch 30 minutes after the phone call.
