I am not sure if it is just me but dollar stores seem to only have Mylar balloons now that they fill up and the latex balloons they won't fill up. This is the second place that told me I could buy the latex balloons and purchase a helium tank at Walmart or Party City which I just don't understand. The only big positive was that everything is a dollar and for party planning things they have things with almost every color that you may possibly need.

This Walgreens is similar to other stores that it is well stocked and seems to have everything you may need. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The reason for the mark down is due to the procedures and checkout process area. First, please look at how your checkout lane process flow is working...please fix. Second, if you are no longer issuing plastic bags (due to NJ law) and your register is fully stocked of paper bags (approx 100+)...don't wait to the person finish's paying to ask if they want a bag for a 5 bulky items...just bag it dude!! Third, please stay up with your competitors (i.e, CVS) and get a couple of self checkout counters. Some customers with one or two items can be a lot faster than some of your employees. Lastly, the pharmacy was fully staffed, but the turn around time for three meds surprisingly took a couple of hours...in the past it had taken 10-15 mins. The long delay is also including the text notification. I enjoyed going to Walgreens in the past, when their slogan was "At the corner of happy and healthy"; now they are not keeping up with the competition.

It's kept clean and free of pallets while it's open to customers... I rarely have trouble finding the items I'm looking for... The parking lot is very clean and well kept... But, a day later when you open the package in preparation to cook, you get a nasty surprise. The nice fresh red meat is only on the top and sides, but inside of that is a core of nasty brown meat that is close to spoiling. This ShopRite was given me the trick a few times. But this was the last straw. The butcher is also guilty of taking tenderloin steaks, yah, PRICEY, and turning them over so that they are full of fat veins & fiber on the underneath side. These are sneaky practices especially for the cost of meat today. SHAME on you!

Had I done what they told me to, I would have stood in line. TWICE. Given the number of people in line, my second time through would have probably forced me to wait another twenty minutes. For a prescription I had already paid for. To make matters worse, the guy who rang me up made no mention of the fact that I would have to get back in line. It was only after I asked to speak with the pharmacist that my prescription was somehow miraculously ready. On top of this, the men's room was filthy, with urine on the toilet seat, toilet seat covers on the floor, and no toilet paper. When I mentioned this to a cashier at the suggestion of a pharmacy tech, I was told that the bathroom wouldn't be cleaned until midnight due to a lack of staff.

The staff on the store side are always friendly, helpful and will go the extra mile... They are also the front line of the store monitoring people as they come in... Making sure that people are wearing masks as they enter... They will tell you that a mask is required to shop there... The pharmacy section is open 24 hours... The staff in this area is also friendly and helpful... I don't get any medication here but my wife does... She has never been turned away because of a lack of anything she has needed...

I feel like when you buy from here and it's a brand you aren't familiar with, it's always a crazy risk. Sometimes good, sometimes not so much.
