Grocery Outlet is a large chain in California that is similar to Mike's -- they're a discount opportunistic grocery that sells items close to expiration/are being discontinued. When we moved back to Minnesota, we were very sad to not have Grocery Outlet anymore. But then, we found Mike's. Mike's is amazing. I'd argue it's even better than Grocery Outlet, and miles above any average grocery store in the cities. The primary draw to Mike's is the pricing -- things are very cheap compared to other grocers. This is possible because they don't have a broad selection and stock items that are close to expiration or being discontinued. It's not uncommon to find things that didn't sell at other stores here. The downside is that they rarely have consistent stock. However, if you have an open mind, you won't be disappointed. There are snacks, frozen items, household goods and even clothes that are very cheap. Lastly, the staff are all very kind and do their best to help. Go here!!!!

Some of the items have met or exceeded the Best Buy date but we all know those dates are generally just a suggestion. I've never had any issues with anything I've ever bought. The prices are also so low you really can't go wrong. The best deal I ever came across here was 12 dozen eggs and 12 pounds of bacon for $50. My Roommate and I split this and it was so worth it. The cereals, crackers, etc are kind of a hit or a miss all depending on what they have in. The paper goods and household type products are similar to big box stores as far as price so I tend to bypass that area. The whole store is worth going through because you can find some hidden deals. Also I recommend liking their Facebook page so you can stay up to date on the current deals and promotions.

It passed it however, they called in another sales associate to look at it and after they played with the bills for a while they thought one of the ribbons looked funny. They denied it and told me to bring the cash to a bank. I brought the money to USbank and the bills of course were not counterfeit. They have that marker especially to check that but they decided not to trust it and made me run to the bank. I used my debit card so I would not have to make two trips but if they can't accept or tell what real cash is then they need some retraining.

But be careful because they are sometimes next to each other, so check the price tags. This is my go-to store for holiday candy (kids), stocking & Easter basket stuffers, greeting cards, helium balloons, birthday decor, plastic organizing baskets, gift bags of all sizes, bulk 40ct. white tissue paper, 2-pack tape, duct tape, some seasonal decor, toothpaste, guest toothbrushes, some cleaning items, sunglasses, and craft supplies--all for $1.25! They even have makeup, food, and OTC meds. I made fall and spring wreaths with their fake flowers for about $10 each. They even sell gardening supplies and seeds. Batteries work but I don't think they last as long. Avoid the electronics, unless you are in a pinch for a day; they don't last and sometimes don't work. Avoid the shampoos. I also recommend sticking with the name brand markers and crayons. Check out all of the $1.25 items I snagged for Easter baskets! And a few birthday decorations!

I made an appointment and shopped around inside COSTCO while I waited. I like that they have the nitrogen air for tires right outside of their tire center that is available during open hours. I've gotten tires at COSTCO for all of my vehicles. Even if you have very nice vehicles, they do take great care of your vehicles and they know a lot about cars at Costco these guys at the tire center they love love cars. So you'll be rest assured that your vehicle will be in great hands. I would order the tires online to make sure that I'm getting the right size for my vehicle. You would type in your license plate and the state and your vehicle pops up in type of registry that they have access to, and then all of the tires will appear that are the correct size for your vehicle. They have all weather all season tires, summer tires, winter tires, whatever your vehicle make is, they may only carry one type of all seasons or three types of summer tires the selection is very slim however, you're guaranteed to have the best type of tire for your vehicle anyway. You'll get an email or a text that your vehicle tires are ready for installation and it appears that their scheduling system online is about a week out even though they would like you to come in within seven days to get your tires installed they will either email you or give you a call that you could schedule earlier so that it's within the seven days. I saved close to $400 on my MBenz tires & $300 on my BMW tires, vs the car dealerships. These are big savings.

Do not go here for tires. They don't honor their warranty…read more I was given a 60,000 mile warranty for my tires that I purchased in 2019. I went in to get a tire plugged (after having a screw in it) and they told me the screw was too close to the outside and they couldn't plug it. I knew that to be false because I physically saw the screw in my thread and removed it. When I pushed back on this they changed their story to say it wasn't about plugging the tire it was the fact that the inside of the tire was worn and wrinkly and they couldn't work on it for fear of it blowing up. So I asked why it wasn't covered under warranty and they said because my tires were over 5 years old. My warranty paperwork doesn't say the warranty is either or, it only says 60,000 miles. They tried to tell me it was two different warranties which doesn't make sense at all and it doesn't say that anywhere on the documents. Needless to say their "recommendation" was to sell me 2 tires or 4 tires. I wonder why. I waited for about an hour for them to speak with managers about discounts only for them to offer $25 per tire. However, plenty of other people (white people) came in for tires and got $150-$200 off. We asked how come we weren't offered the same discounts and manager Melissa said this was the best she could do. Again, I wonder why. All they did was lie and change their stories repeatedly to make their narrative work. No one was willing to wiggle, they were condescending and clearly didn't know what they were talking about. Next time, don't write "60,000 mile warranty" on documents if you don't plan on honoring it. If I could rate zero stars I would. Never had this issue at the Maple Grove location. I will never come back.
