Still, as an avid movie buff, I love checking out the assortment of DVDs that wind up there... over the years I've picked up some limited edition box sets and some rare & obscure films (Eating Raoul, Melvin & Howard, Demon Seed & other cult classics). Big Lots is also one of the few places around where you can buy reasonably priced USB and HDMI cables. Why buy an overpriced Belkin or "Rocketfish" cable for $39.00 from Worst Buy when you can get a comparable cable here for $12.99 (or less)? Caveat Emptor! There's also a pretty decent selection of RTA furniture here. So I guess you could say I'm a regular here. This store, located in East Rochester's Suburban Plaza, looks to be fairly well run. The staff here has been pretty constant, which is a good sign in today's economy.

I just ran. I ran all night and day. I couldn't get away. It's not the cleanest and it's a little cramped, but the employees here are incredibly nice (or they were when I was here). The cat food here is cheaper than at Dol Gens in other zones, and while they don't have the "good water", it's still a good location of the store. I was here about a week ago, buying $25 worth of cat food for 20. It's a good Dol Gen and has nice service too. I'll give it a very solid 3. I always go to Dollar Generals on Saturdays, and have been to most of the locations in the Rochester and Buffalo areas, and this is one of the better ones.

This one was 5.00 of course, and it worked Amazingly! My granddaughter bought a bunch of nick backs, clothes, makes, up. All kinds of stuff. Total bill for the both of us. 50.00. I go there a lot to get beauty supplies because they have a wide variety of them and I love trying new things. They have a lot of brand name items there as well as non brand names. They have a huge junk food section and some of it is stuff you would normally not see in grocery stores. I love the variety of treats there.. though my wallet doesn't love it as much as I do. The staff are always friendly and every time I go there, which is about once a month, I have always been greeted by the cashier behind the register and when I leave they always tell me to have a good day.

I then bought a love seat about a year ago, and I can't say enough about it. Clearly the furniture Lynch's sells is the kind you can keep forever, if you wish. I've purchased from other chains and the pieces usually need to be disposed of in a few years. Not the case with Lynch's. Courteous, service oriented, helpful. And a huge selection of furniture that other stores don't carry. I have no reason to go anywhere else ever again and I regret that I have. They are my go-to furniture store!

This is reminded me of Kohls before they partnered. The cashier was very nice but the value of shopping in a store so sadly neglected is not good.
