Previously I had shopped here thinking if I didn't need it right way or even at all , it was "only a $1" But even though it is not "expensive" relative to Walmart or Hobby Lobby etc. I now am more selective it I want to purchase something for an unknown future need , because now they are in a more competitive price point. i.e. I have other options to spend my $1.75+ elsewhere ! I will probably come here for stuff like q-tips but the higher priced things like glass vases, goodwill and Walmart are viable options. Once I choose the other vendors I will probably buy other items there that I can not get at Dollar stores like grocery items. So for Dollar Store it is a missed customer opportunity.

They're way cheaper than at the grocery store or anywhere else, and some of them are even the normal name brand, like Hefty. They have some ok greeting cards, too, and packages of blank cards that are also a dollar. They get holiday stuff that looks cheap, and they have some strange off brand foods, but you can get good deals here.

Tuesday Morning is a cool discount store, with a limited non-replenished stock of goods on clearance or specially purchased for the store. Lots of Chinese made furniture and accessories. Worth a shot if you don't want to go to TJ Max, Home goods and the 800 pound Gorilla of At Home. As always, YMMV. They know where everything is and they will help you find whatever it is your looking for. There is always more then one person on shift which makes it super easy to find someone! They are all very nice and make you feel at home. They get 5 stars because NONE of this location employees are every in a bad mood. Even if they are. You would never know. Its always well stock although some days you do have to fight through boxes on and caps that need to be put away but they pretty much clear it out by 6 at night so real it's good for a stop on the way home or on the road. It's a more organized offspring of a thrift store and a church Bazaar. Nothing fancy, but they're true to their slogan,"Good stuff cheap". And cheap it is. Sometimes I find things that are less expensive than at Dollar Tree, only 4 doors down in the same Plaza. That said, you can't always find what you're looking for, but you often find something that you want or need. Hence, kind of like a church Bazaar. It's either maddening as heck or fun, as you sift through the bargains and wend your way to the back of the store to see if that close-out on carpets is something that you like. It's one of those polarizing places. Either you love it or you don't. Ollie's sells many name brand things, from Men's, Women's, and Children's clothes, to accessories, Health and Beauty aids, lawn and garden supplies, art, crafts, pet and school supplies. They have a nice book department, and sell things like Bible covers, Sudoku, crossword puzzles and word searches, as well as books for toddlers to adults. Yes, Ollie's even sells food. Nothing perishable, but you can find anything from Pink Himalayan salt, to candy, and cereal, to your favorite junk food, like pork rinds and cheese balls. I've even found jars of marinated bell peppers, huge jars of minced garlic, and if you like flavored coffee, I've even seen flavored coffee syrups and creamer.
