Holy peeps lol They have a wall of peeps with different flavors lol I was surprised at the variety- in fact, I didn't even know there was that many flavors lol I had to grab the Dr Pepper flavor. I had to know lol It did not taste like Dr Pepper to me. Maybe some people like it? Aside from that, they had some decent things here. I was surprised by some of the items they had here: good value. However, I noticed most things were more than a dollar. How is this the dollar tree with items priced at $5 or even $10? I don't understand that. Service was basic. The worker named Maria was extremely rude and unprofessional. She should not be working there if this is how she treats customers. She started yelling about how an aisle was "closed," even though there was nothing but a cart blocking it. How are customers supposed to magically know an aisle is closed with no sign posted? That is not our fault at all. This was horrible customer service, completely unnecessary attitude, and very frustrating to deal with. read more

Watch out if u buy from this Store The cashier's double scan your items and when u tell about it they don't apologize and get MAD because u caught them. Yesterday I had an emergency event happen and I asked the cashier to call 911 and he said that it was his first week there and stood there looking at me. I ended up having to call 911 myself and help my daughter who had passed out. Thank you to the nice manager who helped my daughter and myself until the ambulance got there! According to the news, we are on a helium shortage(?) Well, good for dollar tree having mylar balloons for their trusty $1 set price. I was amazed that they had a very good selection on the variety. Run of the mill for the rest of the store....this definitely is my #1 choice for balloons now. Variety:Solid colored stars & hearts, Elmo, Spiderman, Cupcake and various generic birthday balloons. NO graduation theme or baby shower theme though. You might just have to color block it. read more

This is one of my favorite Dollar Trees in the IE. It has a large selection including frozen foods and many additional items the smaller stores don't have. The staff is friendly and the store is pretty clean. read more

9/23/2020 went in at 8pm to do some exchanges and shopping. Customer in front of me also did exchanges. The young cashier, Alyssa, couldn't do exchanges and called someone else. Seems there were only two working: and this lady seemed irrItated she was doing a return. So she helped Alyssa and left. My turn. I also had some exchanges. Alyssa has to get the code and went into the office to ask for help. The lady told her she was on the phone and on break. It was 8:30pm-thirty before Before closing-California law says you take your breaks every 4 hours in the middle of the day. And yet, she told Alyssa to tell us she can't do it and to come back. I asked if she was the manager and Alyssa said she's not sure. I said I'll Wait ten minutes. So then the lady came Our huffing and puffing and said she's clock in. When I told her I wanted my receipts back. She threw them in the counter and left Alyssa again who couldn't finish my transaction /returns because the frustrated colleague left too soon. I don't know who this night clerk is: she wasn't wearing a name tag and Alyssa claims she didn't know her. But I'be never seen anyone who gets PAID to help customers, throw such a disgusted face at helping customers. Read your labor law and employment contract about your breaks and just because you are no following the rules, doesn't mean you treat your customers like they are an annoyance. Clearly she doesn't like Her job or the dollar tree. At least Alyssa was kind. I won't be returning, Lake Elsinore and I WILl be notifying managers and corporate. read more

Dollar Tree is Dollar Tree, there's not a ton of difference from one to another and we go to a lot of them, but I wanted to review this one just to call out the young man who was working today, 9/24 at about noon. Last minute shopping! I wanted to find bigger gift bags for my cousins' presents 'cause I don't like wrapping presents. Our guy was helpful, guiding us through the mess that everyone was constantly leaving on the floors and leaving the walls bare. He found these Christmas ones for us! They were a bit big (22 in x 25 in x 8 in (be sure to read the dimensions first))! They were for huge baskets, but that's what scissors are for! Everything worked out in the end. I had got some stuff that I no longer needed and called this store to ask if they did returns, the young man on the phone said they did, so I drove out there to be told by the cashier and two managers that they didn't, clearly after the young man overheard me talking to one of the managers he stepped in and said he did talk to me over the phone. The manager was rude and inconsiderate when I told her I didn't need the stuff, and I wouldn't have drove out there if I was told I couldn't return it, she continued to say I could do an exchange, but I didn't need anything else in that moment so I asked if could get store credit instead, she said no she told me to call corporate. I understand that every store has a policy, but it was the way the situation was handled by this "manager". The guy I spoke to on the phone was more caring and understanding than that lady. I ended up having to exchange the stuff I got for a bunch of other unnecessary things I didn't need, and I contacted corporate. read more

This is an ok location, but my review is for the Dollar Tree that just opened up not too long ago on Mission Trail (they don't have a yelp page). The 5 star rating is for both stores :-) The store was clean and neat. And I walked down an aisle and was greeted and offered help by a friendly young gentlemen stocking the shelves. Very nice to be acknowledged. I don't have any problems with this location, but ever since the other one opened up, don't find myself here. read more

Just left the dollar store and they had one register open with a line of customers down the aisle. People confused on who's in line or not and some running into others. While standing in line, I saw 2 or 3 of the poor cashier's coworkers walk by the front not offering to help anyone at all then slowly walk back into whatever abyss they came from. If there was a manager on site, what a poor manager they are. A real manager would have jumped in to help. read more

The worst customer service by KEILA I was buying 40 glasses and she would not help me with a box. She told me that she had no clue how i was going to carry them out nor did she care. Even a customer was trying to help me because he couldn't believe her attitude. I had to return all the glasses and go to another dollar tree and buy them there. At this dollar tree the girl gave me three boxes and let me take them out in the cart. I will never go to that dollar tree again if KEILA is working!!!! KEILA if you are a manager act like one!!!!! HORRIBLE ITEMS & SERVICE!!!! I ordered 9 cases of wine glasses to use for office gift baskets. Picked them up at the Lake Elsinore Store. I understand that it is Dollar Tree and expect inferior quality. But, 5 out of the 9 cases worth of glasses were dirty, broken or terribly damaged (Gouges and multiple scratches around the glass). The store refused to take them back. I called customer service 3 times and was put on hold all 3 times and then disconnected. When I finally reached someone who would talk to me they refused to allow me to talk to a supervisor and said that she emailed the supervisor and he said they have a no return policy. I explained that I did not order or pay for damaged items and no where on their website did it describe the glasses in that condition. She still refused to return the items. I have $120 worth of glasses that are useless and a store that has defrauded me by selling used or damaged items as new and refusing to return the glasses. I will NEVER shop at this store again!!! read more
