**Racially Discriminatory Treatment by Floor Associate Pam**…read more My experience at BJ's Wholesale on July 16, 2026, was unacceptable, humiliating, and deeply concerning. Before checking out, an assistant manager had already confirmed that BJ's would honor my $20-off coupon. She instructed me to go to the checkout area and said she would inform the staff. When I reached the registers, a floor associate named Pam was the only available employee. She was wiping down the registers and conveyor belts, so I approached her for assistance. Pam immediately told me that the coupon could not be honored--even though she is neither a manager nor an assistant manager and the decision had already been made by someone with the authority to make it. Pam then announced that she was going to speak to the assistant manager "about that." When she returned, she looked in my direction and appeared to pretend that she was speaking on the phone before approaching me. She then stated that the coupon would be honored "this time," but began attempting to scold and lecture me about what would happen "next time." There was no reason for Pam to insert herself into a decision that had already been authorized by management. There was also no reason for her to speak to me as though I had done something wrong, attempted to deceive the store, or needed to be disciplined. I experienced Pam's behavior as hostile, controlling, racially discriminatory treatment. As a Black woman, I am very familiar with the difference between ordinary customer-service communication and an employee deciding that she has the right to police, undermine, or control an interaction that was already resolved. Pam appeared determined to override the assistant manager's authority and establish that she--not management--would control how I was treated. My concern is bigger than a $20 coupon. My concern is that a customer-facing employee felt comfortable treating me with suspicion, hostility, and condescension when I had already received approval from management. Does Pam's conduct represent the BJ's Wholesale brand, mission, and values? If it does not, this incident needs to be taken seriously. BJ's should review the store's camera footage, speak with the assistant manager and employees who were present, and investigate Pam's conduct. An employee who brings discriminatory, hostile, or intimidating behavior onto the sales floor affects customers, coworkers, and the entire atmosphere of the store. I am requesting a formal response explaining how this complaint will be addressed. I also expect BJ's to determine whether Pam should remain in a customer-facing position without corrective action, accountability, and appropriate discrimination and customer-service training. Black customers should not have to prepare themselves to be challenged, policed, or talked down to while spending their money. I entered BJ's as a paying member and deserved to be treated with the same dignity, professionalism, and respect as every other customer.

If it weren't for the tiny little sign that's barely noticeable (I didn't even notice it until I specifically started looking for it) then you'd just think this area was River City Marketplace. Technically, it is. Jimmy John's is what stands out in this little plaza and is what gets the most business. The only other things you'll find here is a nail salon, an insurance place, a local jeweler, and a State Farm agency. There are probably a couple of other small businesses here, but I can't recall. The parking lot is nice and there are plenty of parking spaces. The grounds are well-manicured. It seems as though they are extending Shoppes at River City across the street where they are building the new Hobby Lobby (which should be opening pretty soon). I noticed a "Shoppes at River City" sign next to the Hobby Lobby "Coming Soon" sign. Kinda odd they would extend it across the street.... or maybe when all is said and done it will officially be called "Part II." Who knows....

I found a few pairs I liked in my size. I also looked at the clothing clearance section. I searched through a few racks, but nothing caught my eye. I walked through the home goods section as you never know what you might find. They had a great selection of warm soft blankets in a variety of colors and patterns. I've also shopped here a few times when arriving early for flight. And remembering I forgot to pack something like a rain jacket. I've had pretty good luck at this Marshall's location and will definitely shop here again.

Bad experience with a single employee…read more 4/30/26 between 7-730pm. My sister-in-law was lining up to pay at a register which she didn't know or wasn't sure if this particular cashier/register was closed as he was still attending to one customer ahead of her. So she asked if he was still open. He responded with I am and was typing something away and then in the filipino language remarked," Ang kulit nito." Which in English translates to, "This one's annoying." Unbeknownst to him, my sister-in-law is also Filipino. So she told him she understood what he said and that it was poor customer service on his part and that all he could've said is he's open or closed and she could've moved on but he was being very rude. And he continued to ask my sister-in-law if she knew her mother which was said in a tone as if to threaten her. She then reported him to a so-called floor manager on duty who clearly wasn't interested and she left furios and called again today to report it. We are going back to this Hobby Lobby to file a formal complaint regarding this behavior by this particular employee who thinks name calling in his own native language, who we happen to also speak, is normal behavior for a Hobby Lobby representative. Shame on him and shame on this branch if they don't do something about his behavior. From name calling to threatening customers by who his mother is/was or whathaveyou. There more likely is only one Filipino cashier there or employee who does the register as well.

I think all the Hobby Lobby is greatly planned because they always make sure they have a big parking lot which I love! also their stores are always clean and neat and easy to browse the things they sell. Employees at this location are always friendly and they always have a variety of selection which I love so I do not have to keep going on any other stores, basically this is my one stop shop. As for the value they always provide great quality here. When you walk in they greet you immediately. The employees are all helpful and friendly in fact they're somewhat too friendly and helpful because they keep on asking you if you need help. They have men's shoes, women shoes and a children's shoes all the way down to tiny toddlers. This particular store always seems very clean to me and it's in a nice location here by the airport where it's pretty safe. I think this is a decent place to get kids school shoes and the occasional sneakers.

I grabbed it and saw that it was heavily infested with bedbugs, and I took it to the clerk at the front, who then took it to the back, and stated that they discarded it. I told him that one bug was capable of ruining the whole store. Two weeks forward I returned, and today a comforter that looked exactly like the one that was thrown away. Was now hanging up without the plastic. Same color, same pattern. So examine it closely before you purchase it. I also purchased a few pieces of custom jewelry and snagged a cute pair of booties for $15 dollars. Also, all the jeans were 50%. I must say you can get some reasonable and trendy styles at Old Navy. As I get older, I notice the styles at Old Navy align more to my current style in comparison to my early 20s.

It's hard to believe that I've never reviewed this Town Center Old Navy Store which we've…read morefrequented for ages going back to the days that the St John's Town Center first opened for business. This store has a great inventory of product on hand and does a really nice job rotating seasonal items in and out. I particularly like the out rotation of items that find themselves on the clearance Rack sometimes at bottom basement prices! I go right for that men's clearance rack upon entering the store which mind you is always clean and well staffed. Recently we've gone during the peak periods and the register lines get pretty backed up but love that when this happens you can always count in hearing that announcement for "all staff to the front registers!" The line moves pretty well and it's worth the wait especially since Old Navy gives a decent military discount. I'll continue to be a regular customer and recommend that you check out Old Navy for some good old fashioned sales clearance item shopping!
