They also have great deals on Toiletries, dishwasher pods and laundry detergents. Never very busy and the staff is always friendly too. It was about an hour before closing and one person was gathering carts outside. There was one cashier up front when we walked in. I initially looked around a bit for the item. The store has many many empty shelves and pegs. I gave up and asked the cashier about the ear buds. I was told they were probably on one of the 18 to 20 skidds of merchandise that were still in the back room. This person went on to share that the people working in the back were lazy and didn't like doing stock. Also went on to say that they have had a bunch of people recently quit, that the store manager didn't want to hire anyone over the age of 25 and they had a shoe string staff. Sometimes it's funny how much people share with me. I ended up ordering the ear buds in line, and saving 10$. So win for me.

I didn't explore the entire place, but the only thing that it seemed to lack versus a Fred Meyer was a furniture section. To be fair though, it's rare that I need a lounge chair and pico de gallo in the same trip. The prices were fair and the people were nice. Worth the stop in!

It's laid out nicely and everything was stocked and organized. I think I read somewhere it's owned by Dollar General so just picture a more upscale Dollar General. They have a small section of food and household items, home decor, makeup, a little bit of clothing and a lot of holiday decor (mostly Halloween and Fall but some Christmas as of September). I ended up getting a canvas artwork that I had seen online. The original price was $18 which isn't bad at all but they were having a 50% off sale that day so it was just $9. Yay! I would definitely frequent this store if it was in my neighborhood, not sure I'd drive the 30-40 minutes to this location that often.

This HomeGoods feels small. It feels quite a bit smaller than Castleton, though it's interior design is quite similar. I must admit that I have mixed feeling about HomeGoods. There's no denying the good prices on home decor and necessities, however, the shopping experience is almost universally a mid-range experience for me. I sure don't consider it wheelchair friendly, though it meets ADA (which is a bare minimum standard). There's accessible parking out front. The doors are automatic and easily workable. That's really where accessibility ends. The carts are outside the store, a bit of a hassle. The store has fairly narrow aisles and is incredibly cluttered. While I realize not every store is made for a relaxed shopping experience, I've always felt like I spend more in the places where I feel comfortable. I don't feel comfortable here and had at least five aisles I couldn't access in my wheelchair either because of other people, employees, or items blocking the path. I found the selection here paltry at best. Every item I looked at, I ended up finding a handful of options. I found nothing I wanted and was incredibly disappointed with the selection - yes, the prices were good on those items. The service lines are always long here and employees pace themselves as if they're still learning how to do the job. The employees are more functional than friendly. There's literally nothing that makes me want to return. That said, I can't say it was awful. It wasn't. It was just average. The prices are good. The layout is easy to understand. It works. I just think it could be so much better. I left quickly. I left without purchasing. I can't fathom a reason to return.

The greeting cards were slightly discounted but could've been cheaper, got a few anyways. If you go here have a plan of what you need/want and comparable prices in mind so you don't spend forever in the store getting lots of random, unnecessary things.

The store was not nearly as crowded as the Castleton store (by that I mean only a fraction of the Castleton crowd on my early morning shopping). I was also extremely impressed with the selection and with the neatness and cleanliness of the store. The selection was very nice. I interacted with one of the managers I believe and complemented how much I appreciated the displays and selection. Homegoods is hands down the BEST place to shop for nearly all Home goods needs.
