It was a busy night, but there were several lanes open so I didn't wait long. The cashier and the guy that bagged my groceries both greeted me and were very friendly. I've mentioned this on a previous review, but Kroger has such a great organic section with tons of vegetarian / vegan options as well as other special dietary items. It's one of the only grocery stores that I can find a lot of these items at (besides going to Whole Foods or a specialty shop) and it's conveniently all together so no hunting through isles for something special. It's one of the main reasons I keep going back.

I always leave with something in my hands no matter the day I go in. There are true gems to find here, my favorite items to look at are the Knick knacks and jewelry. The only "down" side about this place is that there is a minimum spending with card use at checkout but like I said I always find something so this has never been an issue for me. Now I'm sitting here out $1,100, waiting for my bank to investigate, while Meijer shrugs off a breach that they allowed to happen. If they knew their systems were compromised, they should have taken them offline immediately. Instead, they left customers exposed and unprotected. This isn't a small mistake. This is a complete failure to safeguard the people who trust them with their information. Meijer didn't just drop the ball, they abandoned their responsibility entirely. I just got back from out of state and had to pick up some things for my son's house so I placed a drive up order. Things were hectic so by the time I picked up, I forgot it was a drive up and we went in to get it. Brooke helped us out and when I realized it was a drive up I apologized but she said it was ok and had me switch it. In this particular store, drive up is on the opposite end of the building. Which means she knew she had to walk all the way to the other side just to get my order and she did not complain for one second. Even when she got back she was so nice and still had a smile on her face. Fast forward to the next day. I had to stop in to return something and grab some more things. My return went well even though the sticker was missing on the item. He just had me pull up the DPCI from my app. I did not get that gentleman's name but service was good. I went in looking for two specific items and a bunch of other random things. When I couldn't find one, I stopped and asked an employee if he could help me locate one. My app showed several in stock, but I didn't see any on the floor. He checked and found one in the back then loaded it on the cart for me. I didn't think to get his name but he was helpful. After shopping around for way too long, I headed to the checkout, but only self checkout was available. The gentleman working self checkout seemed busy and I didn't want to tie him up with one order because I had a handful of items that required a price adjustment. So I went to customer service to see if any other registers would be opening up. Alex was at the counter and said he could help me out right there. He was so nice and didn't make me feel like a bother at all. I know it is inconvenient to scan items and bag them with that small counter area at customer service but he was happy to help. He was so friendly and patient about the whole thing. I know by this point you're thinking that I am a high maintenance customer but this is not the norm for me which makes this experience even better. These employees deal with irritating, entitled, rude customers all day, and they still made time to make me feel like I wasn't a pain in the you know what. This is the type of service that made me love Target so many years ago but today there are many locations that do not meet the same standard. Now about the store itself - The store was clean and organized. I passed a few other employees and didn't get the standard greeting but at least they were all working instead of standing around like I've seen at some stores. Things were stocked and the clearance shelves were pretty neat. I did not check out any of the fresh meat or produce items so I can't speak on that. So all in all, I like this location.

I have always received my ceramics and pots when I was told it would be ready, I have taken classes the owner gives on Wednesday evening and have learned a lot. Whatever I want to learn the owner shows and instructs me in the entire process. I have taken many weeks of pottery and was helped with and explained the entire process of why I had to do something and then how to do it. Both owners have always been patient and understanding, always with a smile. They offer so much, and you will have a good time with whatever you chose to do Just as I have.
