Crowded with teens and tweens, I was a bit overwhelmed at the selection and the noise. Parents letting their kids go wild and have a hey day! Why not? It's a cheap day out! I just went in for some candy as a gift, but it was stocked with every confection you can imagine! I found the big "smarties" candy I wanted for a graduation present, and stood in the long check out line. Social distancing stickers and masks in places, I had to remind a lady behind me to "back up" as she was breathing down my neck. They did carry these trendy crocheted foot stools that I fell in love with! The children's department is wanting. TJ Maxx is the cheerleader, more bling, peppier, bigger jewelry selection and more updated furniture and housewares, and a cooler gourmet aisle! Both sell retail brand names, but Marshall's merchandising isn't as appealing as their sister's. The prices are similar, so I like to wait for items to move to the clearance rack for a deal.
