Prices seemed reasonable. The only issue I had is, as I walked around, one of the, I'm guessing, owners seemed to be following me around. It made me slightly uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if she was afraid I would break something, going to steal, or going to make a mess! When I went to check out, the two ladies at the counter weren't exactly friendly. They both seemed distracted and when I tried to make reasonable small talk, not being overly friendly or anything, just saying I was new to the area and my sister would love the store. They didn't respond and just handed me my receipt and bag. No "thank you" or "have a nice day" or anything. I can understand being busy, I've worked retail before. I just think politeness goes a long way. To top it off, they forgot to put something in my bag that I had bought. Luckily the one woman was nice enough to track me down and give it to me. That was at least a kind gesture. I'm going to chalk it up to stressful day and I will visit again in the future.

Once I was in there and a worker there was so kind and helpful and even gave me a deal on the two chairs that I purchased. The most recent visit was just the opposite. No one to help or greet. I asked a question and was treated not only like I was stupid but said, "Here's the stairs right here", like I'm some sort of imbecile. I proceeded to want to check out and two workers were too busy complaining and I stood there and waited until they were done. Then when I gave my card she starts to tell me that my card wasn't accepted but then realized she put it in upside down. No apology just again an attitude. I spent over $50 and I didn't know that as a customer I'm such a burden. Take my advice hire friendly people who work only the floor to help customers if you're too busy to help and answer questions. I will still go but there are other shops in the area that I may consider visiting before I'll go back again.

VHS, DVD and Blu-ray titles of all genres (no adult titles, but that's what the internet is for, right?). Since it's my favorite, the horror section is a "can't miss" every time I come here. It's a nostalgia trip for sure, but SO much more than that thanks to the amazingly kind, knowledgeable and friendly owner who has had the place for 34 years and counting. Do yourself a favor and forget streaming and Redbox for a night, rent some discs (or tapes) and help keep this wonderland doing what it does best - be a meeting ground/living museum to film.
