Firstly, what I really enjoy about this Goodwill that I always try to find at other locations is that it has a restroom and a fair amount of changing rooms. This is one of the busiest Goodwill locations that we have ever been to and I reviewed a lot of Goodwill locations! It's almost like Black Friday inside. Staff here was friendly and courteous and plenty of mine was will be replenished as quickly as they were taken off the shelves. Fair selection of men's clothing though I didn't find too much for myself. Great selection of picture frames and wall hangings as well. If you're going to tape up the boxes, then make sure all components are in the box or just throw it away. These are FREE donations and you are stealing people's money. They think they are getting a complete puzzle or game. Top it off, this location is dirty, unorganized, and a mess. Do better.

I went in today and purchased an adorable 60s shift dress with matching jacket- it might as well have had the original tags from the store because it was in mint condition. The best part- $30!! I couldn't even look at the jewelry in the front of the store for fear that my wallet would cry out in pain from losing it's BFF, my money. Forget the vintage and resale shops in the city. Plenty of home decor items and very unique finds staff here was mildly friendly and this place was not too busy either you can spend a couple hours here depending on how lucky you're feeling. Parking can be a bit of a challenge too. Most of the times are locked behind closed shelves and you need to ask someone to open them to actually touch and hold the items up close before purchasing

A couple of months later, my dad and her (his name is also on her vehicle) got a Steger court summons. My dad opened it and wondered where my mom went to get a trespassing and illegal dumping ticket from! Yes, they said we had trespassed and "illegally dumped" for DONATING! My mom happened to see her former co-worker and her sister there, their cousin (who drove them to donate) also got the fine to pay. We just went to court for this three weeks ago. Seven other families were also in court, and even despite clear evidence there was no warning about trespassing and "illegally dumping", the Kangaroo court was nice enough to dismiss the Trespassing charges, yet everyone got hit with the $50 fine for "illegally dumping". Good deeds are punishable by fines I guess, because whoever works here and did this is heartless and not very intelligent. We all talked awaiting the "trial" and said we will never shop or donate there again. They lost 6 customers with our family alone. What a horrible way to treat customers and punish people doing a good deed.

The Bridge Thrift Shop opened their second location in Frankfort just off Harlem Ave and Lincoln…read moreHwy. The inside is spacious and very well organized into categories like Media, Antiques, Jewelry, Glassware, Plants, Lighting, Crafts, and more. The Antiques section was my favorite as there was clothing, toys, shoes, and other fun blasts from the past. I also enjoyed their Plant Shop that had both living and fake plants of all sizes. The staff did note that the Frankfort location has more home decor while the Orland Park location has more clothing. They have a donation drop off around back of the building for the community to give away items. All profits benefit The Bridge Teen Center in Orland Park which helps fund holistic programs to troubled teens in the area. So happy I stopped in to take a look around!
