Prices keep going up...$1.00 for everything became $1.25 for almost everything became $1.25 and $1.50 to $10.00 prices, and not everything is worth what they charge, but some things are still a good value. Love Shopping at dollar tree for cute little knickknacks and gifts for my nieces and nephews. This time I went in I got a few things as I was checking out I was giving her cash to pay for my purchases when you're done checking out they ask you if you would like your receipt and they give you your change back I told her that she could keep the change and I don't want a receipt she replied with you're not gonna get me fired I'm not going to do that which I find very rude this was an older white lady she must've been in her 60s I heard her talking in the store she was very loud which I didn't mind I love talking and I like being nice though I thought her reply was very rude and she said it in front of a few people who are in the store never have I ever been disrespected like that Ever, I'm not going to shop at this dollar tree anymore because of that rude employee. read more

UNBELIEVABLE!!!! It is Friday the 13th, 2021 mid-morning and my husband and I stopped in to do some shopping at the Fountain Hills, AZ location. The BLAST OF HEAT hit us as soon as we walked in. These poor employees have not had AC for A WEEK (in Arizona in August!)!!! To add insult to injury, they are forced to continue to wear masks in the heat. Dollar Tree Corporate, you should be ASHAMED of yourselves and your GREED to make employees work in these conditions in Arizona during the summer. It is 94° out with 46% humidity and it is unbearable. This is NOT a healthy work environment, in ANY sense of the word. You should have done the right thing: Close the store, pay your employees (or have them work at other stores), fix the AC, and then bring your employees back. SHAME ON YOU!! read more

Great store and great selections, but the short old employee is rude for no reason at the register. If you're so nice to the ladies before me and suddenly turn prejudice, that's pretty messed up. I love the products though, but the employees need to step up to be more respectful. read more

The store was very empty, while scaling down for the move to the new location. Now the store is fully stocked, super clean and organized. Come check it out. The move is still going to happen, the date is just not determined. The new location will be in the same shopping center next door to PETCO. Ever since the beginning of the Great Recession of 2008, stores like Dollar Tree and Dollar General have seen their monthly sales go through the roof! And, you can see why by just walking through the store. One jar of pasta sauce (Ragu), $1.00. One book by Garry Wills, $1.00. A three ounce bag of Hormel pepperoni, yep $1.00. Even the Sunday Arizona Republic, one dollar! I realize that Fountain Hills may not be convenient for most, and as another Yelper has noted there are other Dollar Trees in the area, but this is a really nice store with friendly employees. So, if you find yourself at the nearby Mayo Clinic (3.5 miles away), take a drive over to FH and this store. Enjoy! read more

The Dollar Tree in Fountain Hills Arizona has not had air conditioning in over a week. There is no way for employees to call their corporate office for help. In fact, one employee has already walked off the job due to the heat and their mask mandate for employees. I would urge shoppers to really check the food products they buy for freshness and expiration dates. read more

This is the most organized and cleanest Dollar Store that I've been to! In the gift aisles, all of the gifts were neatly placed on the shelves. All of the similar items were even grouped together (Example: all of the rubber duckies were together). Now that is a lot or organization! Am I tight w/my money? Yes. Yes, I am at times. Where do I go to stretch my money the most? Dollar Tree. Why? Because everything is $1.00. But, you do have to be smart too. I've seen name brand hand soap in there for $1, but have seen this same brand at WalMart for 87 cents. So, I do believe that there is some trickery going on here. I can buy 24-count Tylenol PM (well, generic Canadian stuff) here as well as Christmas wrapping paper, bows, nametags, etc. All for one dollar, folks. I would have probably paid double if not triple at Target or Walmart for this sort of stuff. Some of their shelf-stable food scares me a little. I see lots of dented/bent stuff made in China that has labels in . Just be careful as you may end up w/a case of botulism. read more

This Dollar Tree (DT) location in Fountain Hills is the best one out of the lot. I don't normally go to Dollar Trees because the selection is so bad, but when I'm taking the 87 to Shea into Scottsdale, I make sure I stop by this location in Fountain Hills for the small necessities, like greeting cards, wrapping paper, and even makeup. I really like their plastic boxes for organizational purposes. I've bought food (like jam and cookies) also from this location, and have had no problems. This DT location is very clean, and well kempt, which is unlike any other DT location. The staff, particularly an elderly lady, is really nice and helpful. I highly recommend this location over the others for values. read more

Yep! One of the best dollar trees in the Phoenix Metro area! I have been to the Dollar Tree in Chandler, on Via Linda in Scottsdale, the one by PV mall, and another one in Hancock Plaza in PV/Phoenix. This Dollar Tree is by far the cleanest, most organized, and well kept store. The staff is very helpful and friendly and I have never ever had a problem with this location. They also seem to have the items I need in stock. Their food items are the freshest too. read more

Not the finest dollar store I've ever been to. In fact, this one has to be one of the worst. Or maybe I'm being harsh because I was sad they don't carry bamboo. Seriously, I went to this dollar store on the west side that sold the curly bamboo for...you guessed it...ONE DOLLAR! That is unheard of. If anyone knows where that store is at, let me know. I, unfortunately, can't remember. This location just had some sad looking plants that looked as if they hadn't been watered in a few weeks. They also had the standard food items, toys, hair products etc. etc. but I couldn't find anything at all that I wanted to buy. I do think all Dollar Tree's are perfect for teacher's though. They sell markers, pencils, erasers and other little items that are perfect for teacher's to give out as rewards to students. Not sure if anyone knows this....Dollar Tree is essentially an Internet company. There is no ability to contact therir corporate offices. Good luck trying to get a hold of the DM. Unavailable at all times. Dollar Tree corporation has no idea how badly there DM's and above are a complete waste of money with absolutely no accountability. Now, the store managers are busting their butts with little to no help from their DM. The store managers are what makes the store work in spite of the lack of concern from their DMs. Hats off to the backbone of Dollar Tree (their store managers). There is something extremely wrong with this corporation. I dug a little deeper in an effort to file a complaint with dollar tree reference some issues with how employees were treated during a recent store move.
