The hours say this store closes at 10pm, and again we walked in at 9:29pm. I'm not sure what the issue was with one of the young ladies working during this shift but there was obviously no self-checkouts open (like usual as of lately) so unfortunately yes it means we had to let you check us out. But the female behind the counter who had what appeared to plaits or braids in her hair with a skully cap went behind the counter as we walked up but had her back to us and huffed and puffed several times to show her irritation that we came to the checkout counter. Then proceeded to continue doing so with her back turned to us, and as the customer (and yes I've worked in customer service retail before) I should not have to make an announcement to you that I'm standing here at the counter. As if her attitude and passive aggressiveness wasn't enough, she then proceeded to say, "So y'all just going to stand there and ain't gon say anything?" I just looked at her and gave her a look that showed I'm not entertaining her ignorance. Then she said, "Okay was that it? " and we said, "Yes." and of course she continues on with the attitude and then says, "Okay.... have a good night " after she rang us up. Again I wasn't going to dignify her ignorance with a response. But I am writing this review so management can know one of the young ladies that worked that current shift tonight needs to be reprimanded and she definitely needs to be retrained on what GOOD customer service is because that clearly was not it at all; I have definitely always experienced better customer service from other workers there during the day shift and the night shift, but this is the first time I experienced extreme rudeness from start to finish. Again I've worked in customer service and retail and I understand it can be a frustrating job and it could be long days for people, however if you're going to project your negative mood and attitude onto the customers then maybe that's not the job for you and don't show up to work. This is another reason I agree with what other customers have said about the self checkout lines; if customers they're going to have to be dealing with disrespect like that on a regular basis then the self checkout lines need to be open for us to check ourselves out in peace.

Overall, not a bad place to grab a few essentials. Update: I found some foreign particles in my Gain washing powder. And, the candy I bought was old and expired. I went back to the store to exchange and the manager initially refused to return my money. My husband had attempted to give her the details but apparently wasn't clear. After a somewhat heated exchange the manager Ms. Matthews allowed an exchange which I was very grateful for considering I did not have my receipt only a copy of the exchange in my bank records. It was all good in the end. I will say, I won't buy any food from this location. I'm sure the bug or whatever it was slipped in through the manufacturing process. Also, the store is extremely dirty. It needs a good deep cleaning. Management will return your items at their discretion but seem to be reasonable and professional.

Open air mall with lots of restrooms, seating, and a few food trucks & choices to match. This outlet has it all. The focus is on shopping, so food choices tend to be slim and there are a few food trucks in a little park to help ease those hunger pains while shopping. The stores are always on trend and well-stocked with bargains. I've never had any issues at any of the shops finding what I need and the staff in the stores are always helpful. Definitely, one of my favorite shops for "grab and go' items or shopping for the holidays! You can't go wrong with shopping at this place. Definitely recommend a visit.

The store is clean, the aisles are big enough to navigate, the fruit and vegetables are plentiful, and the customer service was excellent. For instance, I was looking for coffee and an employee saw me looking around and came to my aid - showing me exactly where to look. And when I left, they thanked me for coming. The men's section looked fully stocked and had a much better selection of shoes than women's. The store was packed with merchandise for the most part. They have a really nice plus size section. They need help in the dress department. They have a small home-goods section which some cool pieces. The clearance rack was full, with an abundance of mostly boring sweaters. They entice you with candy and sweets in the check out line. There was only one cashier working the register, but she was quick and efficient. Security is very active at this location, as stated in previous reviews. My only complaint is that it's located in a super, dicey area of town, be vigilant. Not a place I would go often, but definitely a hidden gem.....during daylight hours.

From foodstuffs to lawn furniture... it's in here. I found Faygo sodas, for example, a couple weeks ago. Two weeks prior to that I found Fanta pina colada. I've since seen it in a couple other stores but it was still a unique find at the time. Good prices to boot. Big Lots is alright by me.

If you've ever had to get yourself going in a new area, you know how hard that can be - trying to get all the same stuff out of Target would have easily set me back $5-600. Sure, it would've been nicer stuff, but you just can't buy nice stuff all at once. I've since retired all of those things and I rarely go here anymore unless it's for a random weird tool or electrical item that I'm only going to use a few times. Whoever the two men were that were on shift at this location at 7:45 pm on Monday, June 22nd were…read moreloudly berating two very confused women outside the store about their BMW and then went inside and continued shouting in the store behind the checkout counter about how these "fat bitches need to lose some weight" and how "rude women are terrible to men and that's the problem these days" at their job on shift in front of customers. These women did nothing at all, I saw the entire checkout happen, and these men were loudly confronting and harassing every woman who approached the counter to check out after that and loudly shouting about "rude women who need to lose weight these days". They were so aggressive and the comments came out of nowhere to the point where me and my friends were actually scared. They should be fired immediately. I would never step foot in this business again because of that behavior, women are not safe at this store.
