Sorry yall no pics as I was over stimulated . Dont visit while hungry! Food, sweets galore. Ok I…read moredon't know where to start. Modern Amish market with a swap meet bazaar next door. Deli, meat butcher shop, coffee, bakery etc. I have to find the bakery's name..... possibly Amy's. Beautiful display. I got a giant chocolate chip cookie-good but not earth shattering. Also carrot cake very good but the icing was super sweet. Tasted fresh though. My personal favorite was the pecan sticky bun oh my goodness I'm still cleaning up the sticky sauce. The sweets are very sweet almost overly sweet. The American diet! I visited a hot bar and got some "boom boom" chicken. Only ok at first but was really good the next day ‍. A friend of mine got the turkey ring and was quite happy. Visited next door to the bazaar which was a mix of new items, used and plenty of knockoffs lol. Wish I lived closer but I would definitely go back. And yes the Amish use Apple Pay .

Some places just aren't everyone's style. It definitely wasn't ours. We are used to larger and more…read morespacious Amish markets with more local goods. The smell of fried chicken and oil smacks you as you enter and.. it was just awful. This place is 99% junk on tables. We thought it was more so local vendors with the way some folks made it sound. It's like a giant random garage sale? Anyhow! This is a dream for some but a nightmare for us.

I've found this Sam's Club a real help for entertaining and even purchasing regular groceries. The…read morequality of the groceries, especially meats and cheeses, is outstanding and they carry the bread I like in two packs, meaning that even this single person can buy a reasonable amount and put one in the freezer and one on the counter. The eggs are terrific, you can get pasture-raised, cage free or just standard eggs. The fruit is hit or miss, and the selection of veg is limited but what there is, is excellent. I buy the mini peppers, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, all excellent. Alas, the onions and potatoes are in larger bags than I can use. So I have a friend who likes to split some orders with me. Milk is more difficult, cottage cheese is only in large tubs. Good for a family, not so good if you are a single person or even a duo. There are prepared foods, and party trays. And the sushi is good though it tends to have some kind of hot sauce on it (local preference.) The baked goods are so good, we gift our clients the pies at holiday time, and the cakes are also good. Previously, for our pie giveaway, we had gone up to Costco (a horror show in horror-show Christiana) and the pies weren't any better and were priced a bit more. Getting in and out of Dover Sam's is a piece of cake compared to dealing with Christiana. If you are trying to stretch a dollar or you are doing entertaining, this place is a gold mine. I haven't done much with the non-food items except bought slippers. The dog food is also the one my pooches like and costs less per can. The lines can be long; the self checkout will have an associate to help you and even the full-service line moves quickly. There is "scan and go" but I haven't tried this out (I think you scan items with your phone and it tots up your order as you get ready to depart.) I went two days before Christmas Eve (I know, crazy) and it was quite bearable, though you couldn't get near the rotisserie chickens--the line for the freshly made ones was down an entire aisle. The associates I have dealt with have all been extremely friendly. Summary: If you have a big family or do a great deal of entertaining, the membership will pay for itself many times over. You may find the quality is better than the local grocery store.

Today, for instance I waited from 3:00 PM to after 5:00 PM. I called the HELP line and was informed they were 4 hours behind. Finally cancelled the order and LEFT. REALLY SAM....you can do better than this. Perhaps Walmart can help you get it together. They provide much better service. Sam's Pickup has been a real Bummer!!!
